SO IF OBAMA IS THE “POST TURTLE PRESIDENT,” who put him there?

TOO LATE, SISTER, YOU ASKED FOR IT, YOU GOT IT: If equality means sending my daughters to war, I want no part of it. “In the event of a draft, sending women off to war does not present an equal opportunity to women by nature of the fact that women are physically different from men. As much as we may work to try to level the playing field between men and women, the physical differences between us as created by nature make us inherently unequal and cannot be universally overcome.”

Wait, when people used that as a reason to keep women out of combat, it was sexist, antediluvian stereotyping. But now that we’re talking about drafting women it’s a big deal? Sorry, honey. If we’re going to have a draft, it needs to be equal. If we’re going to go back to embracing the idea of inherent differences between the sexes, well, then, we need to make a lot more changes. . . .

BIG SPENDER: GOP mega-donor Adelson to give Trump up to $100 million.

Trump will indeed need the support. Much of the billionaire businessman’s success in the primary race came from his ability to fund his own campaign and tell voters that he is not beholden to corporate, Wall Street or lobbyists’ interests.

However, his own wealth and small-donor contributions would be no match for those of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic machine behind her if the front-running Clinton becomes Trump’s general election opponent.

That money would be better spent on upgrading Trump’s nonexistent GOTV machine than on lame TV spots which enriched consultants and ad buyers, but did nothing to help Romney four years ago.
