WHEN I WAS IN D.C. LAST WEEK, I spoke to folks at the Koch Associate Program. It’s not too late to apply, and if you’re a libertarian-minded type interested in working on behalf of free-market principles they’d be interested in hearing from you. They’ll extend the deadline to March 22d for InstaPundit readers. . . .

AN ANTI-OBAMACARE PROTEST AT THE CAPITOL IN D.C.: “At an impromptu gathering of Tea Party supporters at Taft Park on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, Republicans lined up to join a protest of the Senate health care bill that could gain approval in the House by the end of this week.”

MEETING TO OPPOSE OBAMACARE IN CINCINNATI, reader Jennifer Clippard sends this photo and account via iPhone:

To max capacity in Cincinnati where Fire Marshall just announced that three people will have to come out to let the guest speakers in at the Cincinnati Anti-Health Care Rally.

GRAND ROUNDS IS UP!

IS LIVING TOGETHER A TRIAL RUN FOR MARRIAGE? The Insta-Wife and I cohabited before marriage — and I also did with some previous girlfriends (and she did with some previous boyfriends). In all cases, it was a useful learning experience.

TEA PARTIERS RALLY ON CAPITOL HILL: “Tea Party activists from across the country began to rally outside Democratic congressional offices in Washington on Tuesday to protest the $875 billion health care bill and demand meetings with their respective members of Congress. And by all appearances, their arrival is not being taken lightly.”

UPDATE: And here’s a report from a protest at Congressman John Olver’s office in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. More pics and video at the link, courtesy of DaTechGuy.

Plus, Jon Ham — Mary Katharine’s dad — sends this pic from a protest in front of the office of 2nd District Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-NC).

UPDATE: Clyburn says health vote could push past Easter holiday. “The House’s healthcare vote could be delayed until as late as Easter, House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said Tuesday. Clyburn, in an interview with McClatchy Newspapers, said it is possible that the House vote on healthcare reform could take place long past the vote Democratic leaders had hoped for this week.”
