Returning to my Manhattan apartment building after our Christmas holiday, we had to ask our taxi driver to circle the block to find a spot BETWEEN THE PILES OF GARBAGE so we could unload our luggage and get home. Felt like the 70s or the Dinkins years. Always a pleasure to come home.
