HILLARY: “We’re in it for the long haul.”

UPDATE: It was a good speech, actually. But Obama’s was better, even though — weirdly, given that it isn’t his background at all — he seemed to be channeling a traditional black preacher.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Reader Bruce Webster writes: “Watching Hillary’s speech, and I’m reminded of the Addams’ Family motto (‘We gladly feast on those who would subdue us.’)” It’s an excellent motto, though better in the original Latin: “Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc!” Not just pretty words . . . .
