LEARN ANOTHER PLAY: Colin Kaepernick Calls For Abolition Of Police, ‘Roots In White Supremacy.’

Flashback to 2016: Clown Kaepernick Now Wearing Socks Depicting Police As Pigs: “This ass**** is just begging to be cut, which he probably soon will be, so then he can cry racism,” JWF writes, linking to a CBS Sports article that notes, “It appears that over the past few weeks, Kaepernick has been wearing socks that show a pig in a cop’s hat. The quarterback has been wearing them since at least Aug. 10.”

Kaepernick also has a penchant for wearing pro-Castro t-shirts. Who does he think will enforce Castro-style socialist totalitarianism?

THIS APPEARS TO BE TRUE FOR MOST OF THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT IN GENERAL: Colin Kaepernick said it himself: His kneeling was meant to disrespect our nation itself. “Ex-quarterback Colin Kaepernick tweeted an Independence Day message reminding us that he always was a radical leftist, America-hating agitator. His national anthem stunt always was about deliberately dishonoring flag and country. Oh, and NFL superstar Drew Brees merits an apology from all those who criticized his original, thoughtful statement about why he would always stand for the anthem.”

SO, KAEPERNICK LIED:

Back in our cheery, prelapsarian days—2016, to be exact—a young and photogenic NFL quarterback named Colin Kaepernick chose to express his patriotism by kneeling whenever the National Anthem was played before football games. He kneeled, you see, merely to protest police mistreatment of African Americans. And we knew that Kaepernick actually loved America because he told us so. “I’m not anti-America,” he said. “I love America…. I think having these conversations helps everybody have a better understanding of where everybody is coming from.”

And everyone bought it.

Or at least pretended to to gaslight the right. Read the whole thing.

DISNEY SIGNS COLIN KAEPERNICK TO FIRST-LOOK DEAL. Expect programming that Kap has signed off on to begin appearing on Disney-subsidiary ESPN. At Outkick the Coverage, Clay Travis responds:

Only in America can you become fabulously wealthy by ripping the entire country and its institutions to shreds.

This is one of the most transparently dishonest media moves I have ever seen, the attempt to turn Kaepernick into some sort of hero despite the fact that he’s a dishonest fraud. I can’t wait for the hagiography ESPN produces that attempts to make Kaepernick Muhammad Ali.

Now I understand why many of you are angry about ESPN turning their backs on the average sports fan. But to be honest, this is tremendous news for Outkick. ESPN has effectively told at least half of the American sporting audience: “We don’t care about you at all. We’re going to reward a non-athlete with millions of dollars and hours and hours of attention.”

They’ve fulfilled every MSESPN claim I’ve ever made in one fell swoop.

And then some.

Like Comcast putting Al Sharpton on the payroll, this serves as protection money for Disney, which also owns ABC in addition to ESPN. Additionally, regularly broadcasting Kap’s boiling hatred of America might help ensure that China won’t close the Shanghai and Hong Kong Disneylands anytime soon, or block the Marvel and Star Wars movies, which is ultimately what it’s all about for Disney:

NIKE REMAINS QUIET AFTER KAEPERNICK CALLS INDEPENDENCE DAY A ‘CELEBRATION OF WHITE SUPREMACY.’

Curiously, Kap had a much more benign take on Independence Day before the Great Awoking:

As one wag joked on Twitter, “Amazing what happens to one’s mind after being benched for Blaine Gabbert.”

QUESTION ASKED AND ANSWERED:

Shot: Colin Kaepernick remains unsigned. Why do these quarterbacks have NFL deals?

Slate, October 11, 2019.

Chaser:

As Sonny Bunch tweets, “Gee, it’s a mystery why no head coach wants this complete non-headache backup player in his locker room.”

Also, Kaepernick’s tweets raise a question. Since Nike used him as “a mascot of the anointed” when they quoted him for PR purposes by cancelling the Betsy Ross flag during Fourth of July week last summer, that means they endorse his views above on Iran and America, right?

ROGER & ME REDUX: Roger Goodell says league has ‘moved on’ from Kaepernick special workout.

“This was about creating an opportunity,” Goodell told reporters on Wednesday, at a league meeting. “We created that opportunity. It was a unique opportunity, a credible opportunity and he chose not to take it. I understand that.

“We’ve moved on.”

Representatives for Kaepernick, who has long maintained that he is ready to rejoin the league, said the workout was moved to the high school facility as a result of the NFL not conducting the workout as a “legitimate process.”

As I wrote in 2018, “Does Kaepernick actually want to be signed? Unless he delivers Johnny Unitas-level talent to whoever he plays for, actually suiting up and riding the pine each week as a backup, or a return to his mediocre performance during the 49ers’ 2-14 season in 2016 would be anti-climactic. Kaepernick has become the athletic equivalent of Michael Moore’s deception in his first movie, Roger & Me. Then-General Motors CEO Roger Smith had met with Moore — reportedly twice — during the shooting of his agitpropumentary, but Moore wouldn’t have a movie if he actually included that footage. Similarly, Kaepernick needs to remain permanently off the gridiron, to keep his uber-woke SJW pose alive.”

Not to mention keeping the funds flowing from Nike while being used by them as a prop to cancel the Betsy Ross flag in a 4chan-style PR stunt.

KAEPERNICK WORKOUT LEADS TO JOB WITH THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS! Err, but not for Kaepernick: “But now, the Redskins have made a signing based (at least in part) on what they saw during the Kaepernick workout. The Skins signed to their practice squad one of the wide receivers to whom Kaepernick threw passes.”

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Inevitable-Everyone Hates Kaepernick Now. “One thing that gets lost in all of the noise that Kaepernick deliberately creates around himself is that his quarterback skills had been in a bit of a freefall throughout most of his last season in the NFL. He’d been benched, and that had nothing to do with his kneeling. A few years away from the game certainly haven’t made any of that better, no matter how hard he’s been working out.”
