COASTAL RIVERINE SQUADRON 1: Three patrol boats from the U.S. Navy’s Coastal Riverine Squadron 1 conduct anti-terrorism force protection operations in the Gulf of Tadjoura. The squadron is forward-deployed with Combined Task Group 68.6 at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The small boats carry a variety of weapons, including .50 caliber machine guns.
