SO THIS IS MAKING THE ROUNDS…:

The important distinction is that Nicole never asked for it.

ARE YOU IMPLYING THAT TMZ IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE? White House responds to report Trump is considering commuting Diddy’s prison sentence.

Now, a White House official has pushed back on TMZ’s report about a possible commutation.

There is “zero truth to the TMZ report, which we would’ve gladly explained had they reached out before running their fake news”, the official told NBC, Sky News’ US partner.

Mr Trump, “not anonymous sources, is the final decider on pardons and commutations”, the official added.

Casey Carver, a spokesperson for TMZ, said in a brief statement: “We stand by our story.”

Unlike the previous administration, there’s no concern this time around that some ambitious staffer might autopen a pardon within a senile executive’s broad “parameters.”

AGREED:

BUT FOR HOW MUCH LONGER? David Hogg is the Grift that Keeps on Grifting.

All this has led to at least one “high-ranking Democrat outside of the DNC” alleging that Hogg’s political activism may be little more than a grift. Hence the title of this latest missive on David.

Hogg and his PAC have been criticized on a number of fronts. When he ascended to his position with the DNC, one of his first acts was to use that organization’s resources to raise money for his PAC (a PAC from which he draws his salary).

This was likely one of the reasons he is no longer with the DNC.

Then he boldly proclaimed his PAC would raise $20 million to promote candidates he supports in primaries, even if that meant going against Democrats that are currently in office. While DNC officials had reportedly signed a “neutrality policy” earlier this year that seemed designed to protect Democrat incumbents, Hogg was apparently the only one to not sign.

Another probable reason he is no longer with the DNC.

While Hogg’s actions that seemed in conflict with the DNC are a bit of a black eye, the effectiveness of his PAC has also come into question. It has lost a couple races—and by wide margins—in which it weighed in this year, and it can be argued the one primary “success” — radical anti-gun socialist (communist?) Zohran Mamdani — was going to happen with or without his PAC.

Could Hogg’s grift be coming to a deservedly ignominious end?

DISPATCHES FROM THE BLUE ZONES: Who Is Teresa Theetge? Anti-White Cincinnati Police Chief Put on Administrative Leave Over Man-on-Woman Brawl Says She’s Being Made a Scapegoat. “Theetge sparked fury over how she handled a July incident in which a white woman was beaten by a group of men — an attack captured on video and widely shared online. Instead of condemning the violence, the police chief criticized reporters for taking the footage ‘out of context,’ though she never clarified what that context was supposed to be.”

GOLD BUG: Top analyst says China is playing a ‘key role’ in the price of gold going through the roof, and he’s got the data to prove it. “Other reporting adds evidence to Slok’s findings. The People’s Bank of China has been a relentless purchaser of gold, marking its 11th consecutive monthly buy this September, per commodities news site Kitco. China’s officially reported reserves reached 2,264 tonnes by mid-2025, but industry consensus suggests that real holdings may be even greater owing to underreporting—a tactic often employed for strategic advantage. This central bank buying is not just a statistical curiosity; it establishes a price floor that signals institutional and private investors to follow suit, reinforcing demand cycles.”

UM…: This company’s plan to launch 4,000 massive space mirrors has scientists alarmed: ‘From an astronomical perspective, that’s pretty catastrophic.’

According to the company’s application with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Reflect Orbital wants to fly its demonstration satellite EARENDIL-1 next year, with an expected launch date in April. Once in orbit, the satellite will unfold a mirror that measures 60 by 60 feet (18 by 18 meters) in order to demonstrate its ability to direct sunlight down onto targets on Earth. The company, which won a $1.25 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract from the U.S. Air Force in May, says its future constellation will deliver light on demand after sunset and before sunrise to paying customers on Earth, effectively extending the daytime hours.

But the project, which promises to help increase clean energy generation during peak-use morning and evening hours, has alarmed astronomers and biodiversity experts who are concerned about the effects of light pollution the constellation is going to produce.

“The planet is warming,” they warned me. “So let’s make the sun shine at night, they said.”

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: On Today’s Episode of ‘Orange Jumpsuit Dreaming’ — John Brennan. “If I had to cast a vote for the Number 1 spot on the Sleaze List, I’d likely give it to Brennan. He was probably a bully and/or an animal-torturer when he was a kid. And it’s almost certain that he would have abused his power even if Donald Trump had never gone into politics. He’s just got that air about him.”

NED RYUN: Trump Cleaning Up Blue Cities Will Result In Political Consequences For Democrats.

Now, the interesting thing is about these cities that are really resisting Trump.

If you think about, you know, D.C., San Francisco, Portland, Chicago, well, first of all, they haven’t had a Republican mayor in generations. I think Portland last had a Republican mayor 65 years ago. I think Chicago has been almost 100.

And, really, this is what the radical progressives running these cities, this is what they want. They want the chaos, they want the death, they want the destruction, because it allows them to consolidate power. These are power bases for them, Jesse.

And I think what you’re really seeing right now is a power struggle over, like that last person commented, the power bases for Democrats in these various states are the urban bases, and they really are single-party mini-states. If somehow Trump comes in and ruins their business model of keeping crime and illiteracy and illegal immigration, all these things, he breaks their business model, which undermines their political power. And then, all of a sudden, it becomes a different, completely different game.

I mean, think about Pennsylvania. If Democrats lose Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania goes red every time. And in Illinois, if it weren’t for Chicago and Cook County, which is basically Chicago, Illinois is a very red state.

So the visceral reaction you’re seeing to Trump trying to bring law and order and peace and security to these urban areas, it’s all about power and political power. And Democrats realize this is a very real threat to their political future.

So does Trump, which ought to motivate him to use every lawful tool at his disposal.

2026 PREVIEW: North Carolina Senate advances new congressional maps to help Republicans gain additional US House seat.

The North Carolina Senate approved a new congressional map aimed at helping Republicans eke out an additional GOP seat to help shore up the party’s majority in the US House after next year’s midterm elections.

The vote came one day after Republican lawmakers who control North Carolina’s legislature formally opened debate on the map. It targets a House district currently represented by Democratic Rep. Don Davis – one of three Black members of Congress from the state. The new district lines aim to give Republicans the advantage for 11 out of 14 US House seats from North Carolina.

The GOP currently controls 10 seats under the map used in last year’s elections.

The map next moves to the North Carolina House, which is expected to give it final approval this week. State law does not give Gov. Josh Stein, a Democrat, veto power over redistricting legislation – although litigation over the map is likely.

It ain’t over yet.

BOEING HAS AN ASTRONAUT PROBLEM:

“That summer NASA was closing in on making crew assignments for the first flights. [Astronaut Doug] Hurley told the chief of the astronaut office he would not fly on Starliner.”

MAKE RIBEYES GREAT AGAIN: RFK Jr. to unveil new guidance encouraging more saturated fats.

Kennedy has argued Americans need more trans and saturated fats, not less, saying foods like butter, cheese, milk and red meat have been unfairly demonized for decades. The updated guidance could be released as soon as this month.

“New dietary guidelines that are common sense, that stress the need to eat saturated fats of dairy, of good meat, of fresh meat and vegetables … when we release those, it will give everybody the rationale for driving it into our schools,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy has long argued that refined carbohydrates and ultraprocessed foods are the main culprits of an unhealthy diet, and that they have largely been ignored in conversations surrounding obesity and inflammation.

I’m kidding, of course — ribeyes were never not great.

Then there’s this: “Kennedy’s shift from the decades-long consensus has already generated concern from some medical professionals, who argue the science is clear: more saturated fats will make Americans less healthy.”

Are the experts unaware of how fat Americans have gotten under their guidance?

OH, CANADA: When a Tribe Whose Great Great Great Grandparents Once Fished There Now Owns Your Property.

People weren’t even paying attention, and why should they?

You bought your land fair and square, maybe even used ‘title insurance’ to research and cover that bad boy, so there were no competing claims or undiscovered liens.

You’ve been paying for it and paying taxes ON it, maybe for generations if it was family property.

But, sadly, if you live in the People’s Republic of the Canadian North, none of that matters.

The Cowichan – yes, indigenous but nomadic – decided to file a lawsuit almost six years ago. The tribe claimed that the waterfront and island that make up the better parts of the downtown Richmond area were illegally taken from them and needed to be returned, even though the tribe was – again – nomadic and never had an established settlement in the area.

Thanks to long-established Canadian woke wussiness, a B.C. Supreme Court judge agreed with them.

Madness.
