DATA REPUBLICAN CALLED IT, AND HAS THOUGHTS ABOUT WHY:

ATHENA THORNE: Touché, Lefties. “Now that you got your election winnings, will you allow vulnerable Americans to eat again?”

“THE MD-11 IS *NOT* THE DC-10.”

DRUG WAR: Federal memo says cartels offering $10K for shooting at Border Patrol agents. “Additional reporting suggests that assailants may wear Mexican military uniforms to avoid raising suspicion while carrying long arms or machine guns,” the alert says. “While this threat specifically pertains to the RGV [Rio Grande Valley] Sector, it reflects heightened cartel frustrations that could extend across the southwest border.”

WHY ARE WOMEN SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE WITH SOMEONE WHO WISHES VIOLENT DEATH UPON CHILDREN?

Or maybe just think of women as the Left’s ideological enforcers — Orwell certainly did — and it all makes sense.

NOT A GREAT SIGN OF CONFIDENCE: Yum Brands to review strategic options for Pizza Hut, opening the door to a sale. “The company has not set a deadline or definitive timetable for the review process. While Yum did not specify what the review’s ‘range of strategic options’ include, potential outcomes could be an outright divestiture, a joint venture or the sale of a stake in the chain.”

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEFING: Brutal Night for Republicans…Or Was It? “The Dems’ flying monkeys in the mainstream media will have a field day with this, loudly proclaiming a huge repudiation of President Trump. There’s no basis in reality for that. I am not at all surprised that things went poorly for Republicans in four states that voted for Kamala Harris last year. Voting Democrat wasn’t very popular last year, and it hasn’t gotten any cooler this year. My stomach isn’t going to be twisted into knots because people who voted to send the country down the leftist toilet last year are continuing to do so.”

YOU GET MORE OF WHAT YOU TOLERATE:

And even more of what wins.

ALLIES: Hegseth says South Korea will take larger role in defense against North Korean aggression.

Hegseth said he is “greatly encouraged” by South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-back’s commitment to increase defense spending and make “greater” investments in the country’s military ability, including “critical” missile defense and space capabilities that “our forces need to preserve the peace and prevail, God forbid, in war.”

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said in early October that South Korea will increase its defense spending by 8.2 percent next year in order to produce autonomous drones, precision-guided missiles and combat robots.

The U.S. Defense secretary said the alliance between Washington and Seoul is “stronger than ever before” and touted the agreement to have American ships maintained and repaired in South Korea.

Seoul had already stepped up in recent years — nice to see them doing even more.

WITH MALICE AFORETHOUGHT: How The UN Discarded Israeli Intel To Downplay UNRWA’s Ties To Hamas.

Investigators with the U.N. Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) looked into 19 U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) employees’ ties to Hamas based on Israeli intelligence and produced a report, which the United Nations has not released publicly and which the Free Beacon reviewed. It portrays the intelligence as likely authentic yet deems it “insufficient” to support the firings of 10 UNRWA staffers. This was the case with an alleged “Hamas platoon commander” and a second “Hamas operative,” both of whom Israel identified through intercepted phone calls and text messages.

The revelation suggests UNRWA may still employ Hamas terrorists who could play a role on the ground if the international organization is allowed to participate in aid distribution in Gaza. As the Free Beacon has reported, at least one senior U.N. official who wishes to restore UNRWA’s control of aid has angled for a prominent position in President Donald Trump’s plans for the territory. UNRWA staffers with ties to Hamas who remain in good standing with the international organization, meanwhile, could transfer to other U.N. agencies.

The United Nations cited this investigation in August when it announced it would not fire 10 of the employees Israel identified. U.N. bodies have used the results to claim reports of UNRWA involvement with Hamas are “not substantiated,” as the International Court of Justice did when it ruled late last month that UNRWA should reassume control of humanitarian aid deliveries in post-war Gaza, over Israel’s objections.

The report includes multiple instances in which the United Nations waved off Israeli intelligence with few—if any—attempts to corroborate the evidence, undermining the United Nations’ announcement and its attempts to play down the relationship between UNRWA and Hamas.

The UN is objectively pro-terror.

THREAD:

This is a must-read, because it isn’t just Nigeria.

NIFTY: Guardsman learns to fly autonomous Black Hawk in less than an hour.

In a training first, the Guardsman, using a handheld touchscreen tablet, controlled the Optionally Piloted Vehicle Black Hawk and planned its tasks during Exercise Northern Strike 25-2, a large, biannual multinational exercise sponsored by the National Guard Bureau that took place in Michigan this August. The exercise sees units practice a wide variety of offensive and defensive operations jointly in battle scenarios.

The Guardsman, whose name has not been released, used the OPV Black Hawk to transport a 2,900-pound water buffalo slingload entirely by remote control, according to the Thursday release.

Reminds me a bit of the Navy using modified Xbox controllers for the photonic masts (modern periscopes) in Virginia-class submarines — and sailors picking them up with almost zero training.

IF JEWS RAN THE WORLD, DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY’D RUN IT LIKE THIS? Mamdani leans into Sarsour support, Muslim faith & ‘Islamophobia’ claims in campaign finale.

One of Zohran Mamdani’s final rallies in New York City centered on his Islamic identity as he rallied Muslim voters and condemned the alleged “Islamophobia” against him, while his campaign thanked a group closely linked both to the NYC mayoral hopeful and to controversial Palestinian-American activist Linda Sarsour.

Mamdani’s campaign swing on the final weekend before Tuesday’s election featured a host of speakers and guests from both inside and outside NYC, and his campaign thanked at least one group — the Muslim Democratic Club of New York (MDCNY) — which had been led by Sarsour and also previously featured Mamdani as part of the executive board.

A Just the News review previously found that Mamdani embraced a nearly decade-long association with high-profile anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour as he rose from an activist to New York State assemblyman and now the Democratic Party’s nominee to run America’s largest city.

Sarsour has generated plenty of headlines over the years, but this might be my favorite: Biden Disavowed Antisemite Linda Sarsour. Then His White House Hosted Her.

Democrats playing footsie with Islamic supremacists is nothing new; it’s just that they’d never nominated one for New York City mayor before.

NEEDS MORE DATA: The Ozempic effect is finally showing up in obesity data. “According to the latest results from Gallup’s survey, self-reported obesity has started to fall, declining by nearly 3 points to 37 percent in 2025. The self-reporting part is an important limitation — people’s reporting of their weight tends to be imprecise — and we’ll need more definitive proof from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to be sure, but it’s some of the earliest evidence that the US may finally be turning a corner on one of the biggest health crises of the modern age.”

OR THEY FIGURE CONSEQUENCES ARE FOR OTHER PEOPLE: The Socialists Are on the Rise in the Democratic Party Because They’re Not Dead. “The wretched educational system in our largest cities guarantees enough low-information voters to elect Karl Marx himself. Voters not understanding the consequences of electing a socialist is how Zohran Mamdani will win the election on Tuesday.”

ASKING THE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS: Would a Fabulously Bedazzled Pistol Play Better in a Jury Trial? “It’s not a glock, it’s a rhinestone emblazoned brick of a pistol. It’s not a shotgun, it’s a pink pony club lead dispenser. It’s not a scary AR-15, it’s a pride flag mag holder.”
