ALL RESPIRATORY VIRUSES HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO DO THIS.  Claiming it only for COVID-19 is an attempt at stampeding you.  (Took me years to recover from that pneumonia, and for the record, it probably shortened my life. I know it weakened several of my systems permanently, and set my auto-immune on an ever worsening path.)
