UH OH – BAD NEWS FOR FOLKS COUNTING ON A BLUE WAVE: Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,000 people earlier this week and found Republicans are significantly madder than Democrats about the treatment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation and the GOPers are also more likely to vote as a result.

Rasmussen also says its latest generic ballot survey shows voters split evenly, 45-45, on which party’s candidates they plan to support on election day. Remember, Rasmussen only talks to likely voters, who are routinely better barometers for election day than folks who are only registered voters.

Go here for the rest of the story, he says modestly.

THREE OF THE WEAKEST PRO-ABORTION ARGUMENTS YOU WILL HEAR, OVER AND OVER AND … With Justice Brett Kavanaugh now sworn-in as a member of the nation’s highest court, look for the pro-abortion side to turn up the heat on every front, especially if a case involving the issue gets on the schedule.

And when they do, argues Pastor Ryan Day  on LifeZette, here are three arguments that you are likely to hear repeated ad nauseam even though they are only slightly less weak than Sen. Cory Booker’s claim to deserve comparison to a certain Roman slave who had a bunch of loyal buddies with the same name.

WANT TO GET RICH? BE A PROFESSIONAL LEFTIST PROTESTER! Like Ana Maria Archila, co-executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD), the screeching girl who cornered Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) in that Senate elevator last week.

You may already know that Archila makes a big salary, but did you know about the other seven CPD big-wigs who are making annual total compensation that is two and in at least one case more than three times the U.S. average median household income? Go here for more, much more, my friends.

KAVANAUGH WILL DRIVE WOMEN AWAY FROM THE GOP, RIGHT? DATA SAYS NOT LIKELY: Leave it to that pesky darn data to put the lie to yet another Unchallenged Truth (AKA the “conventional liberal wisdom”). This time it’s LifeZette’s Brendan Kirby who took a look at the survey results and came away concluding:

“For all the confident pronouncements of the conventional wisdom, though, there is surprisingly little objective evidence to back it up. Polling reveals little evidence of a gender gap on Kavanaugh (pictured above) after accounting for political affiliation.”

KELLYANNE CONWAY REVEALS SHE WAS SEXUALLY ASSAULTED, TOO: The White House senior adviser to President Donald Trump shares a painful truth with CNN’s Jake Tapper. This is a MUST-READ by LifeZette’s Deirdre Reilly.

ACTUALLY, CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD HAS A LOT TO GAIN: Just for starters, there’s the fact Anita Hill’s $1 million book advance after her 1991 Clarence Thomas “high-tech lynching” would be worth at least $1.8 million, and quite possibly a lot more than that. I may catch holy hell for pointing these things out, but there’s also potentially immensely lucrative speaking fees and don’t forget the likelihood of a Hollywood movie rights deal.

SEXUAL ASSAULT WAS A MISDEMEANOR UNDER 1982 MARYLAND LAW: Worse yet, for Christine Blasey Ford, there was a one-year statute of limitations for filing a complaint against Brett Kavanaugh, who, she now claims, sexually assaulted her sometime in the early 1980s during a high schoolers’ party at a house somewhere in Maryland’s Washington, D.C. suburbs. The local police chief and state’s attorney also say the location of the alleged crime must be known.

But here’s the good news for Ford: Local Democrat officials in Montgomery County, Maryland, where the alleged assault occurred, don’t think their law enforcement officials should worry about minor details like the fact Ford hasn’t filed a complaint as the victim.

Prediction: Next, these Democrats will clamor for ignoring the Constitution’s ban on ex post facto actions so that Kavanaugh can be charged under present law, which classifies sexual assault as a felony. And then they’ll say why bother with formal charges, just “arrest” Kavanaugh and throw him in the slammer for the rest of his life. After all, survivors must be believed, right?

SURPRISED? FORD ALREADY REJECTS ONE-WEEK CAP ON FBI PROBE: The sun was not yet set before Christine Blasey Ford issued a statement through one of her lawyers saying she opposes any “artificial limits as to time or scope.”

In other words, Sen. Jeff Flake’s deal Friday morning to delay Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process one week was worthless, as surely all of his Republican colleagues on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary knew it was when they agreed to it.

FOUR WAYS GOP COULD HAVE AVOIDED KAVANAUGH DEBACLE: Hoo-boy, what a circus Democrats have staged in the Senate Committee on the Judiciary against Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. LifeZette’s Brendan Kirby points to four things GOP Senate leaders could have done differently to short-circuit Spartacus and  the Nine Cohorts.

UH-OH. BOTH SIDES NOW QUESTION YALE 22M ILLEGALS STUDY: That data-driven study by three Yale professors that found 22 million illegal aliens in the U.S. — double the traditionally accepted 11 million total — is getting heavy flack from both sides of the immigration debate, according to LifeZette’s Brendan Kirby.

When you’re getting incoming from the pro and con people simultaneously, it might be time to re-think your methodology, conclusions or both.

SARAH SANDERS SHOWS WHY SHE’S UP TO WASHINGTON’S TOUGHEST JOB: Kathryn Blackhurst of LifeZette gives us a glimpse of why Sarah Huckabee Sanders is almost certainly the perfect person to be President Donald Trump’s White House press secretary. As we say back home in Oklahoma, she don’t take no crap from the likes of ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, a former Clinton and congressional Democratic flak now posing as a serious journalist.

THERE IS ACTUALLY NEWS OTHER THAN KAVANAUGH, ROSENSTEIN: This is going to shock a lot of folks, but federal income and immigration data starkly shows open borders make inequality in America worse, not better.

LifeZette’s Brendan Kirby reports:

“The Census Bureau measures inequality by a statistic known as the Gini index, which plots all incomes on a scale of 0 to 1. Zero means total equality — every household has the exact same income — while 1 would mean one household has all of the income.

“For the country in 2017, the bureau’s Current Population Survey calculated a Gini index of .482. That number has been creeping upward — increasing inequality — over the past few decades. It was .397 in 1967, for instance.”

And if that doesn’t throw liberals into an absolute tizzy, there’s this from Kirby:

“A different Census program, the American Community Survey, determined that inequality grew by a statistically significant amount from 2016 to 2017 in five states — California, Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, and New York. All of those states except for Louisiana had foreign-born populations greater than the national average of 13.7 percent.”

I think we can definitely say the Gini is out of the open-borders bottle.

HE WON THREE SUPER BOWLS AND FLEW A-10 COMBAT MISSIONS IN THE PERSIAN GULF: So what does former Dallas Cowboys all-pro Chad Hennings do for an encore? How about becoming one of the most famous advocates for religious freedom the mainstream media never told you about?

Hennings has hooked up with the First Liberty Institute, a Texas-based law firm that specializes in First Amendment litigation in defense of religious freedom for all, and makes the case today in LifeZette for the importance of two upcoming cases.

STEPHEN KING IS A REAL HORROR SHOW. JUST ASK SUSAN COLLINS: The Maine moderate Republican is Target #1 for the Dems’ Smear Kavanaugh Brigade.

HERE’S WHY THE NFL’S PROBLEMS ARE FAR FROM OVER: If the poo-bahs running the National Football League (NFL) think they have put the Kapernick Kneelers problem behind them, former Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich explains why their product is becoming America’s former favorite sport.

SO, IF YOU TRUST PLATO AND ARISTOTLE, WHY NOT THE GOSPELS? Nobody ever says we shouldn’t believe Plato actually wrote “The Republic” or Aristotle “The Nicomachean Ethics.” So why question if the guys who said they wrote the Gospels were the real authors? The answer here is just about certain not to be what you expect.

HINT: It has nothing to do with the fact Plato and Aristotle were just a couple of old white guys who helped give us Western civilization. And there definitely is a lightning bolt from on high for the first wiseacre to say it’s all Greek to them!

FEINSTEIN, DEMS’ ’11TH HOUR STUNT’ ON KAVANAUGH: California’s senior Democrat in the Senate refused to provide any details but she did tell the MSM that she referred it to the FBI for investigation. This one gets my nomination for the Most Desperate Despicable Borking Since Bork.

WHAT IF MICHELLE OBAMA RUNS FOR PREZ IN 2020? If that sounds like an odd question, check out the former first lady’s promo for her new book and the accompanying tour. The most interested observer on this one? Hillary Clinton. LifeZette’s Michele Blood has the key details.

HERE ARE THE RICHEST, POOREST STATES: Something else that Trump is, as the Washington Post put it regarding Hurricane Florence, “complicit.” Check it out, from LifeZette’s Brendan Kirby.

A DECADE LATER, MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME BACK TO 2008 LEVEL: New data released today by the U.S. Census Bureau, based on its Current Population Survey, shows median household income — half of the entries are smaller, half are larger — has returned to the levels seen in 2008. If Obama is responsible for this milestone, he sure took his sweet time about it.

COULD CHRISTIANS BE THE BIGGEST FOOLS OF ALL TIME? For believers and non-believers alike — including those of any faith or of no faith at all — that could be one of the most important questions ever. And if that doesn’t pique your curiosity …

SIX FACTS SAY PAPADOPOULOS IS RIGHT TO THINK HE WAS SET-UP: George Papadopoulos now thinks it was no coincidence that Australian diplomat Alexander Downer just happened to be in that London bar where the former Trump campaign volunteer had a few too many in 2016. LifeZette readers, among others, have known that for a long time, George. Or he could just have asked Hillary.

THE CRIPPLING PARADOX AT HEART OF DEMS’ KAVANAUGH CASE: It’s not immediately obvious but LifeZette’s Brendan Kirby brings it out with a clarity that would make a Supreme Court justice grin.

NIKE, MEET A WOMAN WHOSE CONVICTIONS MAY ACTUALLY COST HER EVERYTHING: Nike features Colin Kapernick who has made millions of dollars for kneeling in protest at NFL games. Now meet Barronelle Stutzman, who stands to lose her business, her home and her life savings as the penalty for her convictions.

HERE ARE DEMS’ SIX STEPS FROM BORK TO CONFIRMATION CHAOS: Liberal journalism icon Scotty Reston warned Democrats in 1987 not to follow Teddy Kennedy down the Borking path. They ignored Reston, the first of six steps that have brought the Democrats (and the rest of us as well) to their present Kavanaugh confirmation debacle.
