NOW GOVERNMENT MUST MAKE MICHAEL FLYNN WHOLE: Documents made public this week by Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell made crystal clear that Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn was setup by the FBI, then falsely charged and unjustly prosecuted by the Department of Justice (DOJ). So the prosecution has been dropped.

But in the years since he was charged, Flynn’s life has been wrecked. His savings are gone, he has to sell his house, and who knows when he will be able to get a job. In a searing editorial, Issues & Insights poses the next question that justice demands be addressed:

“OK, but after having his life turned upside-down, where does Flynn go from here? And not just to get his good name back. He also deserves restitution for all that was taken from him by what increasingly looks like a criminal conspiracy, as we noted last week.”

If Flynn is not made whole, justice will still be incomplete.

NOTRE DAME SOCIOLOGIST SHREDS HARVARD LAW PROF’S HOMESCHOOLING SCREED: Writing for the Institute for Family Studies (IFS), David Sikkink goes to the data and concludes Harvard’s Elizabeth Bartholet assumes “home” equals “prison.”

SAY IT AIN’T SO, JOE: Turns out the former senior senator from Delaware voted against creating Senate office to investigate staff complaints of sexual harassment. Biden was in the Senate for decades, so don’t be surprised to learn of all kinds of votes that in the cruel hindsight of a presidential campaign will prove embarrassing.

VIDEO DOCUMENTS POLICE RAID ON CHURCH IN WUHAN: Scenes like this would never happen here, even in a pandemic. Would they?

TIME TO BRING OUT RECALL INITIATIVES AND PETITIONS: Issues & Insights offers six state-level proto-tyrants whose pandemic edicts make them solid candidates for recall campaigns. Whitmer of Michigan and Newsom of California are obvious candidates, and the latter might want to consult with one of his predecessors, Gray Davis, who knows a lot about recalls.

GAY LEADERS SAY TIME TO JUNK THE Q IN LBGT: Glenn Stanton at The Federalist sheds light on an obscure but key issue on the Left that many on the Right likely don’t know about.

HERE’S THE ‘1619’ FAR-LEFT CRANK WHO LOVES THE SOVIET UNION, ROBERT MUGABE, FIDEL CASTRO: Capital Research Center (CRC) presents the facts The New York Times and America’s Leftist Elite in the MSM, corporate boardrooms and on campus won’t tell you about who is behind “1619” and its fake history of America.

WHY IS CIA IG CONCEALING HOUSE INTEL REPORT CRITICAL OF BRENNAN? The Epoch Times’ Ivan Pentchoukov has a huge story today. Remember that January 2017 “Intelligence Community Assessment” that said Russia tried to steal the 2016 election for Donald Trump? There’s also a secret House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from the same period that concluded then-CIA Director John Brennan overruled agency analysts who argued the evidence showed Russia actually favored Hillary Clinton.

Sarah Hoyt’s shocked and disbelieving face could not be reached for comment.

THE SILVER LINING IN CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC: It may represent a tipping point toward much wider adoption of telecommuting, which could be a huge paradigm shift in transportation, housing, personnel and project management, urban/suburban migration patterns, family dynamics, and much more, according to Mark Mills, writing in City Journal. Speaking as one who has mostly telecommuted for nearly two years, I say bring it on.

NEW FLYNN DOCS ARE ‘CLEARER MAP’ OF FBI CORRUPTION: That’s the word from investigative journalist Lee Smith. This guy deserves much more attention. Next question: Why did the government hide those documents for so long?

WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THAT TESLA IN MY DREAM LAST NIGHT? Here’s why it’s significant that two people never independently have the same dream. (BTW, it was red.)

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE LAND OF THE FREE? Great question. Writing for the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER), attorney and law professor David S. D’Amato does not shy away from the blunt truth.

STRZOK EDITED THE FLYNN 302 BIG-TIME: So concludes The Epoch Times’ Peter Svab, who notes this from Michael Flynn lawyer Sydney Powell:

“I’ve now found a witness who says the original 302 did in fact say that Flynn was honest with the agents and did not lie,” she told Larry O’Connor on his WMAL radio show. “So for somebody to delete that from the 302 is just beyond outrageous.”

The FBI has claimed for years that the original 302 (report of the interview with Flynn) could not be located. My money is on somebody wiped it with a rag, you know, to bleach it. And then it just disappeared! Like in NASCAR with the “that’s just racin'” excuse.

ANOTHER QUESTION, HOW DID THAT $15 MINIMUM WAGE GET IN THE CARES ACT? Actually it didn’t but, as Issues & Insights explains, with that extra $600 a month in coronavirus relief unemployment cash,  the CARES Act might as well have explicitly made it so.

WHY IS THERE SOMETHING RATHER THAN NOTHING? As this neat video explains, Leibniz came up with his “Contingency Argument” to answer that question. I’m not quite convinced about Leibniz’ argument, but I sure am glad there is.

WHY IS THIS SUCH A MYSTERY TO THE ‘EXPERTS’ ON CORONAVIRUS? Washington, D.C. attorney Hans Bader offers this commonsense assessment on one of the least discussed effects of the lockdown:

“By banning elective surgery, states not only deprive suffering people of healthcare, but also cause layoffs of healthcare workers. Meanwhile, most hospitals have beds to spare and enough personal protective equipment (PPE) to handle coronavirus patients. Banning elective surgery doesn’t conserve PPE for coronavirus patients because the personal protective equipment used to treat coronavirus patients is not the same as the equipment used in elective surgery.”

I don’t know, maybe Hans just doesn’t drink the local water?

PEEK AT 2024 GOP PREZ PRIMARY? Former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley on the most basic point about the Flynn Frameup — “People need to pay for this.”

$8 TRILLION AND COUNTING: Manhattan Institute’s Brian Riedl’s latest deficit projections in accounting for coronavirus recovery spending.

SEN. BEN SASSE IS ABOUT TO GET INTO A BIG FIGHT: With the trial lawyers, that is. Sasse wants to protect health care providers treating coronavirus patients. The Democrats’ second biggest source of campaign support sees those patients differently.

THE PHOTO ALONE IS PRICELESS: Issues & Insights assesses Tara Reade’s accusation that former Vice President Joe Biden, during his days in the U.S. Senate, sexually assaulted her in the early 199os.
