DUPED: Fox & Friends invited Arizona Democratic candidate Ann Kirkpatrick to the show to discuss being booed for supporting ICE. But the person who appeared via satellite was NOT Kirkpatrick. It was a woman ranting about how awful ICE is.

FAKE FACT CHECK: The New Yorker “fact checker” who incorrectly claimed an ICE agent had a white supremacist tattoo has been hired by Media Matters to serve as a researcher on “far-right extremism.”
Doubt she’s learned her lesson.

MAKE THEM PAY: Canadian author and professor Steven Galloway just received $167,000 in damages after he was falsely accused of sexual assault following an affair with a student. The university publicly announced his suspension, violating his privacy, and a group of Canadian authors – including “Handmaid’s Tale” author Margaret Atwood – signed a letter calling for due process for the professor.
Of course, the damage to his reputation has already been done.
LAWSUIT: University of Minnesota football players sue for racial and gender discrimination in sexual assault case. The school ignored text messages and videos showing the woman was “lucid, alert, somewhat playful and fully conscious,” yet still five players were expelled or suspended, while others were found not responsible on appeal.
