LET’S GO GET CARNITAS AND NOT PAY: Man robs Chipotle, gets only a burrito, Iowa police say.

A man entered the restaurant at about 6:30 p.m. CT Wednesday in suburban Des Moines. He got in line and ordered a burrito, a female cashier told police.

When the man approached the cash register, he said he had a gun in his sweatshirt, opened a bag and demanded the cashier put money in it, according to the report.

The cashier told police she got scared and ran into the back room without giving the suspect any money. The man then grabbed his bagged burrito and ran out the front door, police said.
