SOME PARTS OF AMERICA STILL WORK: SpaceX launches 21 Starlink satellites during final orbital launch of 2024. “The Starlink 12-6 mission launched onboard the company’s 132nd and final Falcon 9 flight of 2024.”

SpaceX also launched two Falcon Heavy rockets this year for 134 orbital flights. That’s a bit shy of Musk’s stated goal of 150 but a massive increase over 2023’s 96.

2024 also saw four Starship test flights with perhaps as many as 25 Starship launches in 2025.

Oh, and Musk also helped get Donald Trump elected.

It was a very good year.
