THE 2024 WASHINGTON FREE BEACON MEN OF THE YEAR: Kamala’s Campaign Team.

It’s difficult to point to something Team Kamala did right. They catapulted Liz Cheney to the top of the surrogate list. They ditched a three-hour interview with Joe Rogan for a three-minute speech from Beyoncé. They funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars to the likes of Fat Joe and 2 Chainz for rally appearances that nobody remembers. And they lost, badly, turning the so-called Blue Wall into red rubble in the process. Trump made gains with almost every single demographic, with the possible exception of childless cat ladies.

If you’re concerned about O’Malley Dillon and co.’s mental health in the wake of such an embarrassing loss, don’t be. They’re all very confident that they, in fact, ran a “flawless” campaign and that Kamala Harris, in fact, did a ton of interviews. The issue, Fulks told Pod Save America, was the lack of “contingency planning” for Biden’s exit. Cutter, during the same interview, touted the campaign’s excellent work to “give the impression” that Harris was “different” than Biden “without pointing to a specific issue.” We’re pretty sure she wasn’t joking.

We at the Washington Free Beacon are not usually inclined to reward failure. But in this case, Team Kamala’s historic failure was a glorious win for America. The same person who insisted it was “complete bullshit” to say Harris was “afraid to have interviews” and touted Sleepy Joe’s intellectual prowess could have been running the White House. Instead, she’s giving interviews defending the campaign’s decision to spend $100,000 on a temporary set for a sex podcast.

In other words, all is right in the world. And we have Team Kamala to thank.
