CLASSIEST PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF ALL TIME TELLS CNN THAT MEGYN KELLY HAS ‘BLOOD COMING OUT OF HER WHEREVER:’

Donald Trump on Friday night attacked Fox News host Megyn Kelly for menstruating. “She had blood coming out of her eyes. Or blood coming out of her whereever,” Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon about her questioning of him at Thursday night’s debate. “You call women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals,” she said. “Hours later, Trump retweeted a statement calling Kelly a “bimbo.”

Via Twitchy, here’s the video of Trump’s telephone interview with Lemon:

After Trump’s inflammatory remarks, Erick Erickson tweeted “I have invited [Kelly] to attend tomorrow night’s RedState Gathering event in place of Donald Trump.”

Atlanta’s WXIA TV adds:

Ten of the GOP’s White House hopefuls had been slated to speak at the confab at Atlanta’s Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead on Friday and Saturday, which was slated to culminate with a three-hour “RedState Tailgate” at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta hosted by Trump Saturday evening.

In a scathing blog post late Friday night, Erickson said that he had given a lot of latitude to Trump due to his reputation as a “blunt talker” and not being a professional politician. However, Erickson says, there is a line of decency that Trump crossed during a CNN interview Friday night with comments about Fox News commentator Megyn Kelly.

Daniel Foster of NRO quips, “Trump will get a two-point bump for his ‘blood’ remarks, because my theory is true: his base is the ‘Men’s Rights’ crowd.”

UPDATE: Carnival barkers stick together; Trump picks up coveted Piers Morgan endorsement:

Donald Trump may not be everyone’s cup of tea but with this hugely entertaining, deeply provocative campaign he is single-handedly destroying the modern cult of political correctness.

We live in an era now where every tiny slip of the tongue by a public figure is instantly torched by social and print/cable media to such ludicrous levels of hysteria that mere apologies often aren’t enough.

We’re only happy when the often accidental miscreant lies prostrate on the floor, weeping and wailing, begging for forgiveness whilst simultaneously resigning.

As Greg Gutfeld responds, “we’ve now conflated the very worst of behavior that the PC movement aimed to eradicate, with a sound rebellion against the PC movement. sad”.
