RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU VOTED FOR THIS: In his first 200 days, Trump 2.0 has overturned Biden ‘climate agenda’ at breakneck speed, report shows – 200 actions to unleash American energy.

President Donald Trump had campaigned on promises to undo many of the Biden administration’s climate policies. He called climate change a “hoax,” vowed to stop offshore wind projects, and promised to overturn former President Biden’s electric vehicle mandates.

Immediately after being sworn into office, Trump went about making good on these campaign promises and more. In 2022, The American Energy Alliance began keeping a tally of all the actions Biden and the Democrats had taken to make it harder to produce oil and gas. Only two years into Biden’s term, the AEA had 125 items on its list. By the time Biden left office, the list had doubled in size.

On his first day back at the White House, Trump signed dozens of executive orders, including his order “Unleashing American Energy.” The AEA started a new list that tallied up the actions that Trump and Congressional Republicans were taking to unleash America’s energy potential. The first edition, released in March, contained 50 actions. Last week, they updated the list for Trump’s first 200 days in action, and the newest list contains 200 items.

A WIN FOR ELON, AND FOR AMERICA: Fifth Circuit Upholds Injunction Against NLRB Proceedings, Distinguishing Humphrey’s Executor. “Today, in Space Exploration Technologies Corp. v. NLRB, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit concluded that the structure of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is unconstitutional in (at least) two ways. First, the NLRB’s administrative law judges are insulated by a double-for-cause removal protection of the sort invalidated in Free Enterprise Fund v. PCAOB (and which the Fifth Circuit had previously declared unconstitutional in Jarkesy). Second, the court concluded that for-cause removal protection for NLRB Board members is also unconstitutional because the NLRB exercises significant executive power and is not sufficiently like the Federal Trade Commission to be protected by Humphrey’s Executor. Judge Willett wrote for the court, joined by Judge Duncan.”

I’m a big fan of Willett, and have been since before he was on the Fifth Circuit.

STAND UP CHRIS, LET ‘EM SEE YA! Actual Hollywood Reporter Headline: ‘Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story’ Filmmakers on How They Believe the Actor Would’ve Stood Up to Donald Trump Today.

Screenshot here, if and when the Hollywood Reporter rewrites the headline:

At the start of the month, “George MF Washington” wrote on his Substack: Hollywood’s Political Morality Police:

The Hollywood entertainment press, Deadline, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The LA Times and others, exists for two reasons… one is to report entertainment news, and the other is to make sure that Hollywood’s politics remain Progressive.

It accomplishes this second goal in a couple of ways. One is by reinforcing the ideological bubble in which most Hollywood creatives and executives live and work. The other is by issuing veiled threats of banishment and permanent outcast status for all those who deviate from Progressive orthodoxy. Both the fear, and the threat, are very real. You may have noticed, for example, that I write this Substack from behind a thin veil of anonymity.

TDS is of course driving the Hollywood trade press “unexpectedly” crazy, as yesterday’s Variety headline illustrated: As Fascism Takes Hold in the U.S., How Will — and Should — the TV Landscape Depict Our Real-Life Horrors?

Trump’s really Hitlering surprisingly poorly, since he’s allowing the media to say whatever it wants, and isn’t nationalizing the film and television industry.

Classical allusion in headline:

THE LEFTIES ALWAYS WANT A WORKING-CLASS REVOLT, UNTIL THEY GET ONE:

JOY REID IS SORT OF OUR EDUCATIONAL CRISIS ENFLESHED:   Joy Reid Declares White People Never Invented Anything—History Says Otherwise.

Not to mention our mental health crisis.  Btw, when walking by a lefty protest, it’s very effective, instead of answering them back to just turn to your walking companions and say in your most projecting voice, “Oh, yeah. The mental health crisis in this country is out of control.”

It actually managed to make some of the OWS protesters look embarrassed, back in the day.
