DON SURBER: 404 Journalism: An anti-Semitic press lies to destroy Israel.

The English-speaking press gladly accommodates Palestinian terrorism because the press now sees itself as an academic enterprise rather than a trade. Master’s degrees in journalism now dominate the hiring at newspapers. Newspapers prefer degrees from prestigious schools, which always made me smirk because if you have a degree from Harvard, why are you working for peanuts at the Charleston Gazette in West Virginia?

But that background explains why the press promotes Palestinian terrorism against Israel. American universities are citadels of anti-Semitism. Liberals have bestowed victimhood upon the terrorists. Foolishly, I believe, because they will turn on liberals before liberals have the chance to turn on them. Terrorism is by definition a cut-throat enterprise.

American journalists blissfully ignore this as they carry the water for Palestinians.

When Palestinians bombed the parking lot of Christian hospital in Gaza, every single major news outlet in America blamed Israel and said the missile destroyed a hospital.

They’re not so much gullible as they’re complicit.

HARVARD IS HAVING A (WELL-DESERVED) BAD YEAR: ‘This Is Not Leadership’: Open Letter Skewers Harvard For Failing To Protect Jewish Students.

Related: Larry Hogan the Latest to Abandon Harvard. “Considering that Hogan continues to make noises about a potential presidential run next year, possibly as an independent, he probably doesn’t want his name associated with Harvard in any way at this point. . . . Is any of this sinking in at Harvard yet? They’ve already lost the support of some of their top-dollar donors, and more people are abandoning ship. Harvard President Claudine Gay is very much in the spotlight because of all of this. She was initially silent when the Hamas-supporting letter from more than 30 student groups went out. Then, when it obviously began blowing up in her face, she released a statement that failed to satisfy anyone.” They have lousy leadership, but then again they have lousy followers.

HMM: ‘Netanyahu Got All the Warnings,’ Says Former Head of Israeli Military Intelligence.

There were nine months that Netanyahu pushed Israel into a domestic crisis that took all the energy of everybody. The attention of Israel was inside and not outside. And Netanyahu got all the warnings — from his defense minister, from the chief of staff, from the head of intelligence, from the head of Shin Bet and from independent writers like me, like others — that this is weakening Israel deterrence and endangering Israeli national security, that he is risking and weakening every source of Israeli power — the high-tech industry, the Air Force, the intelligence, the deterrence, the relations with the world, with the U.S.

Netanyahu also has to be blamed for releasing Sinwar and hundreds of other dangerous terrorists [in the 2011 Shalit deal]. And he conflated Hamas with the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah because the PA was a body that he should negotiate with, and he didn’t want to negotiate. So he said, ‘OK, Hamas is not that dangerous, we can live with it. Every three, four years, we’ll do a round of exchange of fire. But this is not the most dangerous enemy of Israel.’

There’s obviously political positioning going on, now and during Netanyahu’s heavily politicized corruption trial. But it’s also difficult to argue that Israel’s security position improved during Bibi’s long tenure.

#COMMISSIONEARNED

It’s 2098 and the last season of baseball—forever. After the ravages of WWIII, the once all-American sport is now synonymous with terrorism and treason. Holograms run the bases for out-of-shape players and attendance averages fifteen spectators per game. The only ballpark left is the former Yankee Stadium.

America, nearly wiped out by radical Islam, has established a society based on love. Religion, social media, and the entertainment industry have been outlawed. All acts of patriotism are illegal, and the country is led by Grandma. Heading up the Family in her home base in the Bronx, she works tirelessly to build a lasting legacy for the future.

As baseball historian Puppy Nedick prepares for opening day, a chance encounter lands him face-to-face with former baseball greats. Determined not to go down without a fight, the players band together to revitalize the game for one last hurrah.

But not everyone wants peace. Will baseball become the catalyst for WWIV, or will it save America?

PROPORTIONAL WAR IN THIS CASE IS HARD:  Proportional War or Total War?

No one serving in the IDF wants to rape women and children, behead babies or set them on fire.  Killing all the bastards, though until they surrender? Yeah, that’s justified. Doing onto them as onto Carthage? More justified than with Carthage. Bring on the kosher salt.

WE KNOW:  Chauvin Did Not Murder George Floyd.

And yet a man was sentenced for his “murder” and the entire country burned. It’s time to stop the clown show. It’s time for the truth to matter again.

BOB MCMANUS: Latest migrant poll should scare the hell out of Democrats.

A new poll says 84% of New Yorkers think the state’s migrant mess is a serious problem.

The remaining 16% are zombied-out addicts living in parks and subway tunnels.

Ha. Just kidding about the zombie part.

But, seriously, if you live in New York and don’t think the state’s ever-swelling army of border-hoppers is a serious problem, then you really — really — haven’t been paying attention.

So no surprise then that a poll Tuesday from the Siena College Research Institute finds not only that New Yorkers are uber-stressed over immigration — but that President Biden has but a single-digit lead over Donald Trump in a hypothetical general-election match-up next year.

Clearly, federal fecklessness has consequences.

Biden is up only nine points – 46% to 37% – in a head-to-head in 2024, an extraordinarily small number in cobalt-blue New York.

Or maybe, just maybe, New York isn’t quite so blue any longer — having been mugged by a crime-and-chaos tolerant Democratic political establishment.

Democrats are Trump’s secret weapon. Always have been, always will be.
