WAIT, WAIT, WAIT…  CRACKHEAD FINANCIAL CONMAN WITH BIZARRE SEXUAL HABITS IS ALSO BIGOTED:  Hunter Laptop Reveals N-Word Use, Media Silent.

Why…. I’d never expect that. Look at my shocked face.  And that’s before taking in account daddy dearest’s casual racism (“Poor kids are just as smart as white kids.”).  Shocked, shocked, shocked. You could knock me down with a feather.

SO…. BEING KIND AGAIN?  Nikki Haley Calls Kamala Harris Embarrassing.

Sure, Kamala is embarrassing, but I’d think amoral, unprincipled, dumb as rocks and ambitious are the parts of her character that make for a dangerous combination.

WHEN IT COMES TO WINNING THE CULTURE, IT’S AN EVERY GENERATION THING:  It’s A Very Old Battle.

DO TELL: Not a drill: Inflation is here. “The optimists, including those at the Fed, believe that the current inflation is temporary — a combination of demand spiking as the economy reopens while the supply chains haven’t fully recovered from the disruptions of the pandemic lockdowns. But this understates the scale and scope of what we are seeing. There are reasons to believe that the current moment is different from previous economic recoveries.”

CAN WE TRUST THE GOVERNMENT TO DO ANYTHING RIGHT? (SPOILER: NO.) Half of the pandemic’s unemployment money may have been stolen. “Criminals may have stolen as much as half of the unemployment benefits the U.S. has been pumping out over the past year, some experts say. . . . Blake Hall, CEO of ID.me, a service that tries to prevent this kind of fraud, tells Axios that America has lost more than $400 billion to fraudulent claims. As much as 50% of all unemployment monies might have been stolen, he says. Haywood Talcove, the CEO of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, estimates that at least 70% of the money stolen by impostors ultimately left the country, much of it ending up in the hands of criminal syndicates in China, Nigeria, Russia and elsewhere.”

K-12 IMPLOSION UPDATE: School Board Member Calls Parent ‘A**hole’ After Mask, Racial Theory Pushback; Confrontation Ensues.

Before the incident, Tyson says parents pushed back against mask policy and so-called DEI curriculum, which stands for “diversity, equity, and inclusion.” After a father questioned the necessity of DEI in the district and floated questions about potential financial ties to the curriculum, Yaeger made a gesture to seemingly dismiss the concerns. An older woman who had earlier questioned mask policy yelled to Yaeger about the gesture. “What is that?” she says. Yaeger continued to make the gesture at the woman, apparently mocking her, says Tyson, who then asked Yaeger to be “respectful.”

“Be respectful!” Tyson yelled. “You’re an elected representative representing us, this isn’t about you, bud.”

“You’re not gonna stand up here and do anything to me, a**hole,” Yaeger yelled at Tyson.

Yaeger “had to be restrained,” Tyson said, adding that if he had not had been restrained, “he would have taken a shot at me.”

DISPATCHES FROM THE EDUCATION APOCALYPSE: Millions Will Have to Start Paying Off A Certain Debt Again…And I’m Sure Libs Will Have a Meltdown.

For millions of Americans, there’s an unwelcome side of the return to business-as-usual after the pandemic: They’ll have to start repaying their student loans again.

More than 40 million holders of federal loans are due to start making monthly installments again on Oct. 1, when the freeze imposed as part of Covid-19 relief measures is due to run out. It covered payments worth about $7 billion a month, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York estimated. Their resumption will eat a chunk out of household budgets, in a potential drag on the consumer recovery.

Americans now owe about $1.7 trillion of student debt, more than twice the size of their credit-card liabilities. Politicians recognize it’s not sustainable. Yet for all the talk of loan forgiveness during last year’s election campaign — including from President Joe Biden, who promised to write off at least $10,000 per borrower — there’s been no progress toward shrinking the pile.

As Matt Vespa writes, “There’s going to be a tantrum over this and the usual suspects, like Warren, will probably make their case, but no one really cares. If you see whose debt you’re paying off, the white college liberal who peddles critical race theory, that’s bound to create more issues with voters. Talk about subsiding the poisoning of your own well. Even hardcore Democrats like James Carville noted last year why this is a dumb idea.”
