THE RISE OF THE Republican Class Warrior. “The emerging GOP response to this alliance of the elites—harness the power of the state to rein in Big Tech and preempt any Chinese-style social credit system—has an undeniable, Teddy Roosevelt logic to it. Without curtailing the enormous powers of the global data merchants, can we really be sure that our elections will be free and fair, or that we’re not being orchestrated by the algorithms or the Russians or Beijing?”

I wouldn’t turn to Adam Kinzinger for insight.

DON’T EVER CHANGE, DNC-MSM:

● Shot: New CNN-Driven Attack on Rittenhouse Judge Ripped Outta the Peak Stupid Playbook.

But it’s because of that uncomfortable truth that the left and the media (but I repeat myself) are now proceeding to attack the judge in the case (Bruce Schroeder), in part, because he’s repeatedly admonished the prosecution and because he allegedly has the “God Bless the USA” song as a ringtone on his phone (a song that was played at Trump rallies). But it’s mostly just because the prosecution has just done a garbage job of proving their case to the jury, which has caused a LOT of heartbreak in leftist circles.

While yesterday’s ringtone attack was about as dumb as it gets, today’s attack on Judge Schroeder just may take the cake. And very few reading this will be shocked to find out that today’s attack was inarguably driven by “reporters” at CNN.

It started with a video tweet from CNN reporter Kyung Lah, who apparently is covering the trial for the network. In her tweet, she provided a quick recap of comments made by Schroeder shortly before lunchtime regarding a timeline for the arrival of the Asian food that had presumably been ordered for him and members of the court. “I hope the Asian food isn’t coming.. isn’t on one of those boats from Long Beach Harbor,” he stated[.]

The insinuation behind Lah’s tweet could not have been more clear. Schroeder (supposedly) made a derogatory comment about Asian cuisine/people. Gasp! Racism! Anti-Asian attack!

And for those who didn’t get the insinuation at first, CNN field producer Julia Vargas Jones made sure to translate it into a form of woke-speak (Lah also made sure to retweet her colleague for emphasis):

● Chaser: Mediaite Steps on Rake Trying to Defend Biden Gaffe.

When President Joe Biden spoke at Arlington National Cemetery during Thursday’s Veterans Day ceremony, his words once again became the story instead of what he was attempting to highlight.

As Townhall highlighted on Twitter, Biden — in the course of telling a story — tried to tell an anecdote about Satchel Paige in which Biden referred to him as “the great Negro at the time.” Watch for yourself:

There it is, on video for perpetuity, Biden making another gaffe. Nevertheless, the folks at Mediaite decided to pretend we didn’t see and hear what we did in fact see and hear.

“No, Joe Biden Did Not Refer to Satchel Paige as a ‘Negro’ During Veterans Day Speech,” Mediaite claimed. Silly Americans, you didn’t hear what you just heard, we know what he *meant* to say.

One would hope that Biden meant to say something else, but he didn’t. His twin teleprompters were rolling there for him, all he had to do was read them. Instead, he botched the line and ended up calling Satchel Paige “the great Negro, at the time.”

SPACE: Startup SpinLaunch completes first test flight with wild rocket-flinging launch system. “The company has received more than $110 million in venture capital for its system, which spins up a small rocket to hypersonic speed on the ground. Once released, the final design calls for the rocket to shoot up in the air, and only turning on more conventional chemical propulsion when it’s well on its way to orbit.”

Best for unmanned flights, I imagine. . . .

WELCOME TO THE PARTY, PAL: Harris: France wants to join the Artemis Accords, a major space-exploration pact. “The accords are designed to establish rules of the road for mining the Moon and space exploration in farther realms, even Mars. It calls on nations to collaborate on space missions, minimize debris generation and provide emergency assistance to each other when needed.”

This program was supported under Obama and Trump, so it’s not surprising — but still nice — to see the Biden Administration supporting it too. And though France isn’t a huge space power, it’s nice to have them onboard.
