HMM: Israeli Data Favor Higher Estimates of Post-Vax Myocarditis — Results echo the controversial VAERS study from September. “For patients in Israel’s largest healthcare system, Clalit Health Services, the estimate of myocarditis was 2.13 cases per 100,000 vaccinated persons, reaching as high as 10.69 cases per 100,000 in men and boys ages 16 to 29. A separate study using Israel’s government database, capturing active and passive periods of surveillance for myocarditis, supported the higher risk in young men. In this report, males of all ages had myocarditis occur at 0.64 cases per 100,000 persons after the first dose and 3.83 cases per 100,000 after the second dose — with the incidence increasing to 1.34 and 15.07 per 100,000 after the first and second doses, respectively, for teenage boys ages 16 to 19. Both papers were published online in the New England Journal of Medicine.”

Plus: “Compared with historical data from 2017 to 2019, myocarditis was more than five times as likely after mRNA vaccination in the overall population. Compared with people who remained unvaccinated during the study period (from Dec. 20, 2020, to May 31, 2021), fully vaccinated individuals had about double the risk at 30 days after the second dose.”

RÚV reports that the decision was made after reviewing new data from the Nordic countries, which shows an increased incidence of myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle (or myocaridum), as well as pericarditis, an inflammation in the membrane surrounding the heart (or pericardium), among people vaccinated with Moderna. . . . Sweden currently restricts the use of Moderna to individuals who were born after 1991. Norway and Denmark recommend that Pfizer be used in lieu of Moderna for children aged 12 – 17.”

TIME TO ABANDON PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Unions push NJ teachers to commit blatant violations of student, parent privacy. “Training materials sponsored by the American Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association urge teachers to share student and parent information with a private company favored for political work by progressives like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. . . . This is how politicized and sanctimonious the teachers unions have grown: They see no issue with sharing others’ personal contact and medical info with political consultants.”

HOW TRUMP DIDN’T KILL DEMOCRACY: Another day, another evil caused by Donald Trump. This time, it’s an “intensifying erosion of American democracy” because those gutless Republicans won’t silence the former president, according to The Hill’s Niall Stanage. Except the erosion didn’t start with Trump, based on the survey data I cover today in my PJ Media column.

MEET YOUR DOMESTIC TERRORIST: Loudoun County Schools Tried To Conceal Sexual Assault Against Daughter In Bathroom, Father Says.

On June 22, Scott Smith was arrested at a Loudoun County, Virginia, school board meeting, a meeting that was ultimately deemed an “unlawful assembly” after many attendees vocally opposed a policy on transgender students.

What people did not know is that weeks prior on May 28, Smith says, a boy allegedly wearing a skirt entered a girls’ bathroom at nearby Stone Bridge High School, where he sexually assaulted Smith’s ninth-grade daughter.

Juvenile records are sealed, but Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told The Daily Wire that a boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio, related to an incident that day at that school.

As a result of the viral video showing his arrest, Smith became the poster child for what the National School Boards Association has since suggested could be a form of “domestic terrorism”: a white blue-collar male who showed up to harangue obscure public servants on his local school board.

Read the whole, shameful thing.

SOME 13TH ANNIVERSARY THOUGHTS FROM LEGAL INSURRECTION’S PROF. WILLIAM JACOBSON: “Gradually and Then Suddenly:” What better wake up call do you need than the fact that you have to worry about your kindergartener being ideologically manipulated at school by teachers and administrators? “We don’t have mean tweets anymore, instead we have a sociopathic federal government that wants to watch over almost every financial transaction we make and labels as domestic terrorists parents who raise objections to their kids being force-fed ideological poison at school. All the while destroying our borders, our energy independence, and the credibility of our military.”

JEFFREY CARTER: It Is Time For Strikes. “Everyone needs to take a page out of the Southwest playbook. Anyone in the country who is freedom-loving respects free speech and freedom of choice needs to back them. You need to tell your friends to tell their friends to back them. Make it loud. So loud you panic the censors at the social media companies.”

RESTAURANT BUSINESS: Brace Yourself for a Mass Exodus of Employees.

Restaurants struggling to hold onto their employees are about to hit by a major setback, according to new research.

A survey of 13,659 wage earners by the online job marketplace Joblist revealed that 58% of restaurant and hotel employees intend to quit their jobs by the end of the year, stoking what the researchers have dubbed The Great Resignation.

If the pattern set by earlier quitters persists, a fourth of the workers will leave the hospitality industry for good. . . . The percentage who said they’re satisfied with their positions dropped to 42%, from a pre-pandemic benchmark of 64%.

It’s a hard life, and while it can pay well, there are other costs.

WILLIAM DOYLE: The 2020 Election Wasn’t Stolen, It Was Bought By Mark Zuckerberg.

During the 2020 election, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars to turn out likely Democratic voters. But this wasn’t traditional political spending. He funded a targeted, private takeover of government election operations by nominally non-partisan — but demonstrably ideological — non-profit organizations.

Analysis conducted by our team demonstrates this money significantly increased Joe Biden’s vote margin in key swing states. This unprecedented merger of public election offices with private resources and personnel is an acute threat to our republic, and should be the focus of electoral reform efforts moving forward.

The 2020 election wasn’t stolen — it was likely bought by one of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful men pouring his money through legal loopholes.

Last week’s Facebook “whistleblower” testimony was an act designed to engineer a Facebook-friendly social media regulatory scheme to lock in Facebook’s dominance.

Zuckerberg bought himself a government and he means to use it.

HERD IMMUNITY: “We all got the Covid, so… all the Amish know we got herd immunity. Of course we got herd immunity!… We think we’re smarter than everybody. We shouldn’t be bragging, but we think we did the right thing.”

KEVIN DOWNEY JR: The Rebellion Against ‘Woke’ Has Begun. “Did we not include our pronouns because we are hateful and transphobic, scheming away at how to ‘oppress’ a tiny group of people we rarely encounter? No. For me, it’s because I won’t be told what to do, especially by a microcosm of our society that is backed by communist thugs calling themselves Antifa. I also don’t believe in changing society for a tiny group of people, especially people who a psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins claims have a mental illness. I’d prefer we, as a country, help them get treatment, especially knowing that up to half of trans people will attempt suicide.”

GLAD TO BE UNHAPPY: Inspiration4 pilot reveals an overlooked, mind-altering problem with going to space.

Sian Proctor made history last month as one of the four passengers on the first all-civilian space mission to orbit. But in a National Geographic interview last week, Proctor revealed that her three-day trip to space was “not enough,” she would “go for longer,” and “at least 50 percent” of her dreams after coming back involve living in space.

It’s an insight into what could become a common feeling: missing space once you’re back on Earth. Companies like SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic all aim to increase access to space, which means more people than ever will get to feel this. This would stand in stark contrast to the sixties-era space race, where global superpowers sent the best of the best on a limited number of missions.

But experiences like Proctor’s could become more commonplace as visitors experience something akin to post-vacation blues.

I’d be happy to have a chance to be that sad.
