THAT’S JUST SAD: Spacesuit delays threaten moon landing plans, NASA watchdog says. “Cost projections for the spacesuit development are approaching $1 billion, according to the report from NASA’s Office of the Inspector General. It attributed delays to the coronavirus pandemic, technical challenges and shortfalls in congressional funding.”

Color me skeptical.

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): This is awful, and probably means an end to the Republic. On the other hand, there’s clearly no political appetite anywhere for addressing the deficit or the debt, so I don’t know what to do. Perhaps the Second Republic will have tighter fiscal controls. And hey, what the hell, people have been predicting financial disaster for decades as the debt and deficit grow. Maybe it won’t happen. But I feel like sooner or later they have to be right.

DOUBLE STANDARDS: Cuomo Supported the MeToo Movement Until He Was Targeted. The real reason people didn’t come forward sooner is that they knew Cuomo would be defended by the entire Democratic media/political establishment. I mean, if it could turn a blind eye to thousands of deaths . . .
