THE HYSTERICAL LEFT BECLOWNS ITSELF:  Impeachment 2.0 Is Passed In House .

They think Trump was only elected and defeated them despite their fraud games (and defeated them a second time despite their Covid-19 psy ops) because he has Svengali-like powers.  The truth is, he was elected because the American people are pissed at the “Death to America” left.  We told them if they kept f*cking around they’d find out what comes after Trump.
I guess they want to find out.

ARE THEY FOR REAL? Photos show armed FBI tank rolling down Queens street.

Okay, that’s not a tank, but it is an armored vehicle. Which the FBI apparently thought necessary to arrest a “Proud Boy.” You know the same FBI who never bothered capturing Antifa leaders.
It’s also absolute evidence that the FBI needs to be dismantled, root and branch, and that some trials need to take place about what exactly they’ve been doing and whom they’ve been serving while in the people’s pay.

The founding fathers wept!

THIS IS THE FUTURE OF OUR NATION:  California’s Internet Censorship Office is Watching What You Say.

Oppression is freedom. Censorship is freedom of speech. Poverty is wealth….

Seriously, do you have any idea how little I wanted to live through this cr*p again?  And there’s no America to go to.

DRIVEN TO SUICIDE OVER FREE SPEECH: Georgia Bank Executive Commits Suicide After Being Charged in Capitol Riot.

“Riot” my sore feet. I’ve been in demonstrations. I’ve been in riots. I’ve been in demonstrations that were fired upon and where panic erupted and people got trampled. That one wasn’t any of the above. It was the Democrats — ineptly — trying to use a protest to create a Reichstag fire. Stupidly. Because they are very stupid people. And now panicked too.

ABOUT THE LIZARD PEOPLE:  The reality of the lizard people.

I was joking on my blog that at the rate this was going, I was going to end up owing an apology to the lizard conspiracy theorists, and someone pointed me at that post.  It’s older. But it explains why some people believe in lizard people, and how in fact it describes reality, even if in fact there are no aliens among us. (But there kind of are.) Call it…. magic realism.

VILE: Jake Tapper Wonders If Paralyzed Vet Cares About America After No Vote.

Wednesday afternoon during the second Trump impeachment vote, CNN’s The Lead and State of the Union co-host Jake Tapper lobbed a disgusting and vile attack on Republican Congressman Brian Mast (FL) for voting against impeachment, doubting whether the Army veteran and double-amputee was truly committed to upholding and defending the Constitution and American democracy.

Tapper interrupted State of the Union co-host Dana Bash as she was making a point about direct evidence the U.S. Capitol insurrectionists were taking cues from President Trump to insist: “Congressman Brian Mast, a Republican from Florida, who lost his legs, by the way, fighting for democracy abroad, although I don’t know what his — I don’t know about his commitment to it here in the United States. He said, did anybody say that? Yeah, we heard them.”

This is CNN.

FLASHBACK:

Not all leftwingers in the US are as frankly religious as Hillary Clinton, and many don’t even realise that the ideas that they champion have deep religious roots. But even for these people, being leftwing has itself become a sort of religion, with those who disagree viewed as sinister, almost demonic forces, rather than simply as individuals holding different views.

The language of righteousness and sin, if not that of redemption and grace, remains a hallmark of the purportedly secular left, though I find it no more attractive than the language of the religious right.

I don’t fit into the religious right or the religious left. But, in America, you don’t get to choose a major political party that does not have some sort of religious strain to it.

And it strikes me that one reason why politics in the US have become so much more bitter over the past couple of decades is that two rather different threads of religiosity have come to dominate the two major parties in distinct fashion, where each party had previously incorporated major components of both. This has turned political battles into quasi-religious ones.

Not being a devotee of either strain of American politico-religious faith, I find this rather tiresome, and more than a bit disturbing – but I think it’s likely to represent the state of things for the foreseeable future.

Nailed it.

BATTLESWARM BLOG: Democrats’ Tower Of Self-Reinforcing Bullshit. “The biggest gap in this country isn’t between enlightened social justice warriors and the backward racist redneck freaks of JesusLand, it’s between those who want to continue sticking their snouts into troughs of taxpayer money, feel their own grifts are sacred birthrights above reproach and have different laws apply to them than the peasants, and those who have been made aware of the scam.”
