WE WERE MADE IN AN ALIEN RESEARCH LAB: But it was the lab of an alien in an extraordinarily advanced technological civilization quite beyond our present understanding of things, according to Harvard theoretical physicist Avi Loeb.

Being a mere journalist, I, ever-so- humbly, take Loeb’s conjectural analysis at face value and offer three suggested flaws therein, then point to an analysis he offered on another occasion as the proper, broader context for understanding his perspective.

Loeb is a genius-level guy and his reasoning and insights should intrigue anybody who cares about the cosmic origins issues. And he has a sense of humor, as seen in his observation that “when I tell students at Harvard University that half of them are below the median of their class, they get upset.”

POLL: Fauci Lied: Resign. “Nearly half the nation believes that COVID-19 czar Anthony Fauci lied about funding virus testing in China, and almost as many want him dumped from the post he’s held for 37 years.”

He did a crap job on AIDS and he’s done a crap job on Covid and he’s a crap person to boot. Naturally, he’s our highest paid “civil servant.”

HOW THE FAKE SAUSAGE GETS MADE: Aaron Rupar accidentally proves Sen. Cruz is right about the First Amendment.

Here’s what Cruz said, “My god! A parent did a Nazi salute at a school board because he thought the policies were oppressive. General Garland is doing a Nazi salute at an elected official, is that protected by the First Amendment?” And at the end of the clip, AG Garland agreed: “Yes it is.” So Rupar could have written “AG Garland defends Nazi salutes at school board meetings” but that wouldn’t have gotten thousands of likes from his lefty followers. Rupar knows his audience.

Rupar not only proved Cruz right — but Ron DeSantis as well:

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: GOP Is Charlie Brown, Virginia Is Lucy With the Football. “Despite all of the signs that things are moving in the right direction for Youngkin and the Virginia GOP, we’re probably not outside the margin of Democrat election shenanigans. A win for the Republicans in Virginia would certainly set the tone nicely for the midterm elections next year. It’s obvious that Republicans all over the country really, really want this one.”

TRANSPARENCY:  The Commission on Civil Rights has now responded to what appears to be a legitimate FOIA request concerning Catherine Lhamon, its former chair and Biden’s controversial nominee to the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights.  But it did so only AFTER it was sued for failure to respond and (more significantly) only AFTER Lhamon was confirmed by the Senate in a 50-50 vote in which Vice President Harris had to break the tie.  Oh … and the Commission has evidently produced only 280 of the 3862 responsive records.

VODKAPUNDIT: American Mengele. “What is missing from the soul of a doctor who tortures Beagles and monkeys, and just as recently as 2004 was conducting medical experiments on New York City orphans?”
