THE “S” WORD: As I’ve mentioned before (once or twice), I have a new book out called The Socialist Temptation. Here’s an interview with me about it in The Epoch Times, an excerpt at National Review’s new Capital Matters site, and a webinar on the book with Kevin Williamson.

WORST PUTIN PUPPET PRESIDENT EVER: Army V Corps Headquarters Will Be First Unit to Move to Poland. “In a Pentagon briefing last Wednesday, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said that the withdrawal of 11,900 troops from Germany, reducing the U.S. presence there to about 24,000 personnel, would be accompanied by a shift in the U.S. and NATO force posture to the Black Sea region, the Baltic states and Poland to counter Russia.”

I forget where I saw it — CNN? — but somebody was headlining the withdrawal from Germany as a “gift to Putin.” Not so much, in the real world.

CANCEL CULTURE IS COMING FOR YOUR PICK-UP: Wall Street Journal news reporter has a close call with a pick-up truck in a parking lot, while another decides they are “deliberately designed to intimidate and kill pedestrians,” and demands (of course) European-style regulations. GOOD QUESTION:

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Idiot MSM Hacks Confuse Joe Biden for a Practicing Catholic. “I’ve been a practicing Roman Catholic my whole life. I’m no saint, but I also understand that an integral part of being Catholic means that one doesn’t hold radical abortion views just for political popularity.”

WHY ARE DEMOCRATS PUSHING MAIL-IN VOTING: Over 80,000 mail-in ballots disqualified in NYC primary mess.

A friend on Facebook comments: “Democrats are pushing ‘mail-out’ ballots because they want total confusion until the post-election uncertainty drags on long enough for Pelosi to become acting president after Jan. 20, 2021. I kid you not. This is their plan.”

If that’s their plan, it’s a sign of desperation.

UGH: Intel investigating breach after 20GB of internal documents leak online. “US chipmaker Intel is investigating a security breach after earlier today 20 GB of internal documents, with some marked ‘confidential’ or ‘restricted secret,’ were uploaded online on file-sharing site MEGA.”

This breach could prove to be a huge bonanza for malware creators.
