KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Barack Obama Is the Inspiration for BLM’s Cop Assassination Attempts. “Barack Obama is the beating heart of the Black Lives Matter movement. Obama’s embrace of the false narrative about Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri helped birth BLM.”

I REMEMBER WHEN MONEY IN POLITICS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BAD: Mike Bloomberg Wants To Buy Florida Election For Joe Biden for $100 Million. This says that Democrats are worried, I think. I also wonder if Bloomberg can buy more votes for Biden in the general than he was able to buy for himself in the primaries.
I have to say, I just saw a 15 second Biden ad where he just looks at the camera and asks for support. He looks and sounds terrible, and you know they did a bunch of takes to even get one this good. I’m not sure more exposure is what he needs.
COLORADO: Socialist CdeBaca offers childish excuses for breaking campaign finance laws.
True to her socialist core, Denver Councilwoman Candi CdeBaca thinks campaign finance rules apply to everyone but herself.
Colorado Politics reports CdeBaca’s campaign broke the law and took contributions well above the legal limit of $1,000 and failed to report contributions above $500.
Denver City Councilwoman Candi CdeBaca’s campaign violated election finance laws last year when vying for District 9, a seat she won in a runoff election against the well-funded, two-term incumbent Albus Brooks.
CdeBaca’s excuse for accepting more than the legal limit? It’s no big deal because it only happened 20 times.
For not reporting contributions? It’s hard, she explained, because there were a lot of donors who gave her money for the first time or gave her money before, and there was just a lot of them. Gosh. Go bother someone else, she concluded.

SALENA ZITO: The forgotten counties will make their voices heard.
Miller did not vote for Donald Trump in 2016; he didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton, either. He said he is a retired insurance manager and does not like what he sees coming from the party he has been a part of his adult life. “I just get tired of the game-playing that the Democrats are doing. Everything’s just so disgusting today. Something has to change. Well, something’s going to change,” he said.
“I’m afraid something’s going to break out here, and I’m pretty sure it will,” he said. He said he’s concerned what happened to patrons having dinner at an outside cafe in Pittsburgh when protesters swarmed them will find its way here and other bucolic settings across the country. “I am tired of what I am seeing.”
Miller is not alone. For the first time that anyone could remember, Cambria County is no longer dominated by Democratic voter registrations. They lost that dominance quietly on Labor Day weekend when Pennsylvania Department of State registration numbers showed Republicans having 37,951 registrations and Democrats holding 37,826.
Four years ago, Democrats still dominated by 12,000 registrations. Eight years ago, it was nearly double that. Despite the lead in registrations, both Trump and Mitt Romney prevailed over their Democratic rivals in this county.
Yet it was not that long ago that then-candidate Barack Obama won here over Republican John McCain and not that long ago that Democrats had a 30,000-voter registration advantage over Republicans.
Change.

CHARLES LIPSON: What Bahrain’s Deal with Israel Really Means.
President Trump’s foreign policy is significantly different from that of his predecessors. Unlike George W. Bush, who fought a land war in Iraq post 9/11 and deployed thousands of troops throughout the region, Trump is pulling back. He is instead emphasizing the geopolitical threat from China while withdrawing troops from the Middle East, including both Syria and Iraq, where Iran is a major presence.
Second, unlike Barack Obama, Trump is not seeking a ‘more balanced’, friendly relationship with Iran and a less supportive one with Saudi Arabia and Israel. Trump is vocally opposed to Iran’s mullahs. He is determined to isolate them diplomatically, punish them economically, and block them strategically. His policy to prevent them from building a nuclear weapon is not a joint agreement, like the one signed by the Obama administration and its European partners, but military deterrence and covert attacks on Iran’s nuclear program. Trump is openly supportive of both Israel and Saudi Arabia. He was willing to move the US embassy to Jerusalem despite opposition from the Arabists in the State Department, the Democratic party, the vast majority of foreign-policy experts from Boston to Washington, as well as and nearly all of Europe. They predicted huge pushback across the Muslim world. They were wrong. Trump was right.
Change you can believe in, to coin a phrase.

MICHAEL GOODWIN: The Democrats’ Partisan Damage.
First, it was the United Arab Emirates and Israel making peace. Then it was Serbia and Kosovo agreeing to set aside political disputes to sign an economic deal. And now Bahrain and Israel are set to sign a peace treaty.
The last month has been a remarkable one for the Biblical injunction to turn swords into plowshares. Most dramatically, the number of Arab countries recognizing Israel’s right to exist has doubled, from two to four, a leap that is reshaping 75 years of Middle East politics before our eyes.
These breakthroughs were brokered by President Trump and his administration. It is an extraordinary record of peacemaking, yet in too many circles, it is being treated as a sideshow without significance.
Naturally, The New York Times took the low road, insisting Saturday that the deals show Trump trying “to position himself as a peacemaker before the elections in November.”
So being an actual peacemaker doesn’t count because the Times spies a personal motive?
In the same vein, talk of the president getting a Nobel Peace Prize is instantly dismissed. Over the dead bodies of the world elite will Trump be so honored.
Make no mistake — had these feats been achieved by a Democratic president, he would be celebrated. When Trump does it, meh.
That much is obvious, but there’s another dimension to these deals, one that bears on the dangerous polarization gripping America. We are now in an election year where political violence is growing and both parties are expressing reservations about whether they will accept the outcome.
Future historians will chart the decades-long path of how we got to this perilous point, but they must not ignore the incredible damage done by Democrats’ decision to reject the legitimacy of the Trump presidency.
Having never accepted his election, they resisted and tried to destroy him. They weaponized the Justice Department and the FBI, CIA and State Department, and enlisted the left-leaning media — meaning most of the media — to paint Trump as unfit, unworthy and even a Russian agent.
Worse than personal slander, it was character assassination masquerading as concern for national security. It reached rock bottom in the impeachment fiasco, where they tried to undo 2016 and prevent Trump from being on the ballot this year.
These were the dirtiest tricks imaginable, and they haven’t stopped. Rep. Adam Schiff even has a new “whistleblower.”
Indeed.
