The article mentions that the standards are different in DC and Maryland. But wait, there’s more. In our recent trip across…. six? states, unless I’m miscounting, we ate out a lot, since you know, on the road, in a car. There were towns and states that were basically completely normal. Normal-normal, not new normal. Towns and states where you had to wear the symbolic mask of submission to enter the restaurant, after which, OF COURSE it’s perfectly safe to remove it, and be in close proximity to other people in an enclosed space for a long time. And there are places like our own Colorado where you are at a third capacity, with tables blocked off, have to wear masks to get to the table, after which of course, it’s completely safe….
The measures had absolutely nothing to do with the numbers of deaths per 100k people, locally (my husband insisted on looking it up) and what’s more, the fully open counties and states aren’t all dead. In fact, their numbers track with everyone else.
Forget it jack, it’s cosplay, virtue signaling, and a bunch of statists making us follow irrational orders because it makes them sooooo tingly.
