IRANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER: Nuclear Scientist’s Killing Planned During Netanyahu’s Visit To Saudi Arabia.
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has formally leveled the charge that Israel and Saudi Arabia conspired to assassinate top Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was killed in a carefully planned assassination when his vehicle was stopped outside Tehran last Friday.
Zarif, who is active on social media in presenting the Islamic Republic’s messages to the world, posted the allegation to his Instagram page, saying that “supporters of the maximum American pressure are seeking in the last days of the Trump administration to create unrest in the region and destroy the atmosphere that may lead to the lifting of sanctions,” according to a translation of his words.
If true, it’s nice to see Arabs and Israelis working so closely together in a noble effort.
DEMS REALLY BLEW IT WITH THEIR “DEFUND THE POLICE” RHETORIC, SAYS…
Is Barack Obama imparting wisdom in his Snapchat interview with Peter Hamby, or only restating the obvious? Don’t bet on it being the latter, at least not among the audience Obama hopes to reach with this advice. “The key is deciding,” Obama says, “do you want to actually get something done — or do you want to feel good among the people you already agree with?”
Chanting “Defund the police” and attacking law enforcement rather than sticking to policies of reform is very much the latter, Obama tells Hamby.
One lefty organization that has seen the light on defunding the police is CNN, which doesn’t appreciate being on the receiving end of their usual treatment for conservatives: CNN’s PR account goes Full Karen, says they’ve contacted law enforcement about James O’Keefe.
That’s awfully rich, considering CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Christiane Amanpour have doubled as anchors on CBS’s 60 Minutes, which made hidden camera segments a trademark since the late 1960s. But this is far from the first time the DNC-MSM have gotten vapors over their tactics being used against them.
CHANGE: Macron turns on the left. “Once lauded as the liberal bulwark against Europe’s nativist far-right, Macron is now morally suspect for tackling the continent’s Islamist far-right; Europe’s ‘anti-Trump’ is now only comprehensible as a Trumpian figure in the eyes of the New York and Washington press, but there is increasingly little value in paying attention to the hysterical wailing of American commentators.”
Unlike those commentators, he appears to be capable of learning.
A RATHER ODD SECRET SERVICE RESPONSE to a Freedom of Information Act request regarding Hunter Biden’s gun. “In other words, this is either grossly incompetent — which ought to concern everyone considering what this agency is responsible for — or it’s a deliberate stalling tactic, meaning it has been directed.”
In my experience, a non-response response is a typical opening gambit when an agency doesn’t want to provide the requested information. The next response will probably be a broad claim of exemption, citing a laundry list that simply replicates the FOIA exemptions second, rather than the required “Vaughn index” identifying what documents exist and why they specifically are exempt.

LARRY O’CONNOR: If You Wanted to Rig An Election, You’d Do Exactly What Dems Did in 2020.
First, they’d make sure that the voter rolls were full of ineligible voters. Deceased people, non-citizens, and people who have moved out of state would not be purged from the rolls, and there would be no mechanism in place to purge those ineligible voters.
Further, they wouldn’t have any preemptive check to ensure that only eligible voters registered in the first place. For instance, you can’t get a job in this country without showing a passport, birth certificate, or green card for a standard I-9 form. This ensures that only people eligible to legally work here get a job. There is no such citizen check when you register to vote. It’s on the “honor system” that you are a legal citizen when you fill out your registration form. And, let’s face it, why would someone who breaks our immigration laws by entering, staying, and working in our country illegally ever break our election laws, too? That’s a solid policy there.
Next, they’d modify existing election laws so that voters could mail-in ballots on a whim and not for a specific “absentee voting” reason. This way, in-person voting (the most secure kind of voting) would diminish, and mail-in voting (the least secure) would increase.
Next, they’d send a ballot to every voter on the voter rolls regardless of whether they asked for an absentee ballot or not. This way, millions of live ballots are floating in the system and are outside the tight custodian controls of the election apparatus in your state.
Now that they’ve hypothetically flooded the zone with millions of ballots that have been sent out to everyone, regardless of their eligibility to vote, they would need the policy to count every vote that came in, even votes that shouldn’t be counted.
Bingo.
