CAN YOU SOLVE THIS ‘CHICKEN-AND-EGG DILEMMA’ ON THE ORIGIN OF LIFE? NBC “Dateline” cold-case detective J. Warner Wallace claims there is no solution: Which came first, the machine that makes the protein required for life or the protein required to make the machine that makes the protein that’s required for life?

RADICAL CHIC, THE GERITOL YEARS: Jane Fonda Cheers From Safe Location As Her Friends Are Arrested.

The irony isn’t lost on reasonable people that Jane Fonda, who wishes to usher in a socialist utopia in America via the Green New Deal, is unwilling to continue to be arrested because of the likely length of her next sentence. If she is put away for a month, she says it will interfere with her upcoming filming schedule for the next season of Netflix’s Grace and Frankie. She would suffer financially, as would the production and her cast mates.

As Mark Steyn once wrote, “When the British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan dumped some of his closest cabinet colleagues to extricate himself from a political crisis, the Liberal leader Jeremy Thorpe responded: ‘Greater love hath no man than to lay down his friends for his life.’”

DANIEL JOHN SOBIESKI: Time to Subpoena Alexandra Chalupa.

Thanks to disgraced FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who told us in a text message that “POTUS wants to know everything we’re doing,” we know that President Obama was kept fully informed about the deep-state coup against President Trump. Liar and leaker James Clapper has thrown Obama under the bus by saying the plotters would not have proceeded without President Obama’s approval.

In a CNN interview deep-state conspirator and perjurer James Clapper gave with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, he points his finger directly at Obama as leader of the coup against Donald Trump. . . .

Now we find out, thanks to Tom Fitton and Judicial Watch that DNC contractor Alexandra Chalupa, who worked with Hillary Clinton to get Ukraine dirt on Trump, visited the Obama White House 27 times and even had meetings with the alleged Ukraine whistleblower whose name dare not be spoken, Eric Ciaramella.

This is the whistleblower coached by Adam Schiff and who colluded with him, a deep-state CIA agent whom we are told might wet his pants out of fear if his identity was publicly acknowledged. Ironically, as I noted recently, in a major goof-up, Schiff forgot to redact Ciaramella’s name in a posted PDF of the transcript of Ambassador Bill Taylor’s testimony.

REP. ELISE STEFANIK, HERE’S THE LEFT’S REWARD FOR YOUR COURAGE: Geez, why does it appear that being a smart, courageous, tough young woman only counts if you are part of the Resistance, not one of those mean, bigoted, unsophisticated bumpkin Republicans who are shredding it?

SURPRISE! MARRIAGE WORKS BETTER THAN SHACKING UP: New survey of 9,000 couples turns up, among much else, the interesting conclusion that “married adults are more satisfied with their relationship and more trusting of their partners than those who are cohabiting.” Who knew?

UKRAINE 2014 IS BEING REPEATED HERE IN 2019: Mickey Kaus’s observations about the parallels between Ukraine 2014 and the U.S. 2019 ought to open some eyes. Remember John McCain speaking in the square and Victoria Nuland passing out cookies to the protesters who ultimately overthrew a corrupt, but democratically elected government?

Look close enough and you just might see McCain’s face transform into that of Adam Schiff and Nuland’s into Marie Yovanovitch. As Kaus observes: “It’s not the job of the State Department to observe every jot and tittle of another country’s election laws. It’s the job of the State Department to pursue U.S. interests. If that also involves meddling in another country’s politics to a degree that would send Robert Mueller into permanent state of shock if Russia did it to us — well, welcome to the world.”

Worth thinking about.
