DEAR PRESIDENT ROMNEY: A reminder that whoever the president is, if he has an (R) after his name, the left would still be just as crazy as they are over the Trump administration.

SECOND GREAT FIRE OF LONDON: The night of December 29, 1940 was the worst night of blitz. More than 100,000 incendiary bombs were dropped over London. Fires—1500 of them—burned all over town.

That night London lost 160 of its citizens, 31 of its guild halls, 19 of its churches, and much more. But, thanks to the heroic efforts of its fire fighters, it did not lose St. Paul’s Cathedral.

#JOURNALISM: “Let’s [talk] about a major source of media bias that often gets overlooked: Where reporters get their stories. Truth is that reporters often get their stories from activists. The problem is that many mainstream reporters mostly associate with and follow activists on the left. . . . That creates a major source of media bias that is almost impossible to evaluate or quantify. Left-wing activists regularly get their campaigns and preferred stories highlighted in the mainstream press, which gives them more credibility. Rarely happens the other way.”

A SHOCKING DEVELOPMENT:

UPDATE: From the comments: “Hayek’s ‘The Fatal Conceit,’ as narrated by Tommy Chong, man.”

ROGER KIMBALL: The Prague delusion: The Central European city is the last stop for the resistance fantasy. “That fact that Michael Cohen has been shown not to have been in Prague is merely a fact. What is that against the ardent heart’s desire to Get Trump and cancel the effects of the 2016 election?”

One of the nice side benefits of the Trump presidency is that Roger is writing more. “Coven of dismal choristers.” Delightful!
