HMM: MH370 Was ‘Manipulated’ Off Course to Its End, Report Says.

Monday’s 449-page report offered little to solve modern aviation’s biggest mystery — and stopped short of apportioning specific blame. There’s nothing to suggest the plane was evading radar, or evidence of behavioral changes in the crew, it said. Significant parts of the aircraft’s power system, including the autopilot function, were probably working throughout the flight, the report said.

“We are unable to determine with any certainty the reasons that the aircraft diverted from its filed planned route,” Kok Soo Chon, chief inspector of the MH370 investigation team, told reporters in Putrajaya, outside Kuala Lumpur. “The possibility of intervention by a third party cannot be excluded.”

If true, was it a deadly prank, or perhaps a dress rehearsal for something bigger?

YOU MAY DISMISS SCENARIOS LIKE THIS ONE as funding-oriented fearmongering, but we really need to develop the technology to create and mass-produce vaccines much more quickly.

RAYMOND IBRAHIM: The Dhimmi in the Mirror. “Which leads to the real question: If Christian minorities living under Islamic authority have little choice but to speak well of their “coexistence” with Islam, why are Western leaders, politicians, and talking heads of all varieties — who are not under Islamic hegemony — also behaving like cowed dhimmis?”

THIS SEEMS UNWISE: Top Tennessee Dem Party official snubs ‘reaching out’ to Trump voters, calls them ‘idiots.’

A top Tennessee Democratic Party’s communications official made disparaging comments about President Donald Trump and lashed out against a suggestion to reach out to his voters, describing them as “idiots.”

Mark Brown, a top communications official for the Tennessee Democratic Party currently working as the leading spokesperson to help Democrat Phil Bredesen win the Senate race against Republican Marsha Blackburn, has made a number over-the-top comments on social media, including calling the president “f—stik” and “Putin’s b—-,” the Washington Free Beacon revealed.

“Exactly, f— ‘reaching out’ to Trump voters. The idiots aren’t listening,” Brown wrote in one of the tweets from 2017. In other tweets he also called Trump a “f—ing moron” and “insane f—.”

The revelations Brown’s troubling remarks on social media came as Bredesen complained about Vice President Mike Pence’s “name-calling” after he endorsed his Republican opponent and called him a liberal.

Poor timing, too.

THE LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES ALWAYS GETS THE LAST, BITTER LAUGH: Disabled People Are Decrying The Plastic Straw Ban.

Critics argue that alternatives for single-use plastic straws — such as plastic lids or metal straws that can’t bend — are extremely difficult for people who have limited motor skills. Paper straws, others point out, can become soggy and disintegrate before a handicapped person is even able to finish their drink.

“The disability community is concerned with the ban because it was implemented without the input of their daily life experience,” said Katherine Carroll, a policy analyst for the Center for Disability Rights. “[I]t seems the blanket bans are not taking into account that they need straws.”

Moral posturing on a trendy non-issue based on bad science takes precedence over the needs of the disabled.

HOW THE HOOVER DAM CHANGED AMERICA.

LEFTISTS REALLY DO WAKE UP ASKING THEMSELVES, “WHAT CAN WE BAN TODAY?” “A proposal introduced Tuesday to ban employee cafeterias in future San Francisco office buildings represents more than an effort to boost the city’s restaurant scene, backers say. ‘People will have to go out and (eat) lunch with the rest of us,’ Aaron Peskin, a San Francisco supervisor who co-sponsored the proposal, told The San Francisco Examiner.”

If the proposal actually passed, and if it allows existing buildings with employee cafeterias to be  grandfathered in, their real estate values are guaranteed to soar far into the stratosphere in needle and pooh-soaked hellscape of San Francisco. Just ask their new mayor.
