Two undercover police officers at a Donald Trump rally last week said they saw Trump supporters “get punched, kicked and pushed” and “running for their lives,” according to a police report.
The plainclothes officers said they did not intervene for fear their own safety would be jeopardized as the estimated 400 protesters developed a “mob mentality.”
The officers’ observations were included in the arrest report of Antonio Moses Fernandez, 19, of San Jose, who is accused of throwing a metal barrier into a police skirmish line following the Trump rally June 2 outside the San Jose Convention Center. Fernandez made his first court appearance Tuesday and was charged with felony assault on a peace officer with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer, according to court documents.

About a dozen people were hit, some car windows were broken, and at least one woman was struck by a raw egg. Some Trump hats were torched after they were snatched from the candidate’s supporters. It’s unclear what role each of the men arrested allegedly had in the violence. In a statement, San Jose police said other people have been identified in connection with the violent demonstrations.”

Hillary Clinton and the Associated Press have declared that Hillary Clinton is the Democratic president nominee. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders hasn’t given up, but it would take several miracles for him to become the nominee at this point.
So why aren’t millennial women excited by the prospect of seeing the first female president in our lifetime? Precisely because the woman who might take that honor is Hillary Clinton.
Also, millennials have been taught that gender is fluid. She might be a woman today, but by the time she’s sworn in she might decide to be a man.

POLL: Clinton, Trump in tight race in Pennsylvania.
Clinton leads Trump in a matchup by just 1 point, 41 to 40 percent. Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson garners 6 percent support in the poll and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 3 percent.
In a head-to-head matchup between both presumptive presidential nominees, Clinton and Trump tie at 44 percent.
But Republicans are more unified around Trump than Democrats are around Clinton, according to the poll, which was conducted before Clinton clinched the nomination.
Hmm. Two thoughts: First, if Trump wants to win Pennsylvania, he’d better saturate Philly with poll watchers. Maybe donate to True The Vote? Also, if I were a smart GOP operative (assuming such exist) I might push Jill Stein in Pennsylvania’s upscale white enclaves, where Bernie supporters might be diverted from Clinton.
What will actually happen: Trump will say something outrageous, people will be outraged, GOP apparat will do nothing useful.

Setting aside her party’s elite “super delegate” insurance policy, Clinton has now secured a majority of pledged delegates, which reflect the will of primary voters. And despite falling to Bernie Sanders in a startling 23 nominating contests, the former Secretary of State has attracted roughly 3.7 million more votes than the Vermont Senator nationwide. Having lost the election by every metric, the disheveled Soviet Union honeymooner says he’ll fight on to the party’s Philadelphia convention anyway, marking just the latest instance of a Socialist ignoring simple math that complicates his untenable fantasies.
The fact that Clinton failed to clear this hurdle until the very last day of balloting underscores her profound weakness as a candidate. She enters the general election stage of the campaign as one of the most disliked and distrusted political figures in America, and one of the least popular presidential nominees of all time. Despite his even uglier public image and endless parade of divisiveness and insults, the Republican nominee-in-waiting only trails her by an average of two percentage points at this stage of the race, inside the margin of error. Several weeks ago, a Democratic operative basked in the afterglow of Donald Trump’s effective nomination victory, crowing on Fox News that the GOP had selected “exactly the candidate they deserve.” Ironically, both Trump’s strong backers and detractors on the right would likely agree with this statement, albeit for different reasons. This week, the same formulation applies to the Democrats. They’ve chosen the corrupt, opaque, power hungry, self-serving, aloof, greedy, politically soulless, congenital liar they so richly deserve.

These facts are known now because the Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group’s Ethan Barton ignored the avalanche of evasions, half-truths, glittering generalities and unexplained delays that for months characterized the response from Environmental Protection Agency officials about what looks increasingly like a major environmental disaster caused by the agency.
To date, neither Griswold, nor anybody else at EPA or any of the several other federal agencies active in the Gold King Mine region or connected to the disaster in some way has been disciplined, much less fired. Ultimately, taxpayers will pay millions of dollars in damages for the government’s actions that created a serious public health threat and inflicted long-term environmental damage that could have been avoided.
