CHANGE: Americans Lose Faith in Public Schools. “The latest Gallup polls measuring Americans’ confidence in the nation’s institutions have been released, and the news is not good. Newspapers, banks, and small businesses all took a hit, while gains for the Congress, the Presidency, and the criminal justice system were relatively minor. One of the largest drops was for public schools. According to the poll, confidence in public schools has dropped five percentage points in the past year to 29 percent, a historic low since the question was first asked in the early 1970s.” I blame the Wisconsin teachers’ unions.

INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY: Obama’s Executive Privilege Has The Stench Of Cover-Up.

President Obama’s contempt for the rule of law hit a new low when, on the eve of a vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, he granted his AG’s 11th-hour request to hide sought-after documents on Operation Fast and Furious under the cover of executive privilege.

“I write now to inform you that the president has asserted executive privilege over the relevant post-Feb. 4, 2011, documents,” Deputy Attorney General James Cole says in a letter that GOP Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa received just before Wednesday’s hearing and vote, a letter that apparently was not mentioned in a last-minute meeting between Issa and Holder Tuesday night.

Or maybe it wasn’t the 11th hour at all, but just a long-planned final gambit in the cover-up of who made the decisions in a federally sponsored effort to provide Mexican drug cartels with sophisticated American firearms and who is ultimately responsible for the murder of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry with these weapons?

Ouch.

THE HILL: Obama campaign holds $110 million in cash.

The Obama campaign spent more money than it raised in May, but is sitting on $110 million in cash, according to a Federal Election Commission filing on Wednesday.

Obama for America raised $39.1 million in May and spent $44.6 million. The $39.1 million makes up part of the $60 million, announced earlier this month, that the campaign raised jointly with the Democratic National Committee.

Combined, the Romney campaign and Republican National Committee trounced that number, bringing in $76.8 million in May.

Hmm. Inevitably: Obama Runs His Campaign Like He Runs the Country… In the Red.

THEY TOLD ME IF I VOTED REPUBLICAN, WE’D SEE CAMPAIGNS OF STATE-SPONSORED RACIAL DENIGRATION. And they were right!
