UH OH: More Woes For Airbus As A380s Abandon Flights. “Airbus’s A380 superjumbo encountered fresh operational problems on Tuesday, when two aircraft had to abandon flights because of separate difficulties.”

DON SURBER: “The Obama administration’s defense of Obamacare before the Supreme Court on Tuesday was reviewed as stumbling and bumbling by news reporters, foreshadowing the Big Government clumsiness and ineptitude a universal health care system would offer the public.”

THE HILL: Poll: Voters give Obama low marks on efforts to lower gas prices. “Despite efforts to tout his administration’s energy policies, a new poll finds voters still overwhelmingly disapprove of President Obama’s handling of high gas prices. Sixty-eight percent of those surveyed in a new Reuters/Ipsos poll released Tuesday disapproved of Obama’s efforts on high prices at the pump. Twenty-four percent approved of how the administration is handling the price spikes.”

I guess that’s why they’d rather talk about birth control and hoodies.

BRIAN DOHERTY: Another “Domestic Terror” Failure: Hutaree Militia Acquitted on Most Charges.

That case has looked pretty weak all along.

Related: Eric Holder Loses Case Against Michigan Militia. “How ironic and delicious. In 2010, some were defending the dismissal of the New Black Panther voter intimidation case on free speech grounds, even though they physically tried to block a poll. To Eric Holder, the political leanings of the speakers seems to determine how much respect for those rights the political appointees at DOJ will afford.”

THIS WEEKEND IS MY FRIEND CHRIS PETERSON’S Personalized Life Extension Conference. If you can’t make it out to the Bay Area, you can watch a webcast, and if you put in INSTAPUNDIT as your code, you get $50 off. I don’t get anything out of that, but you might find it useful.

PRO PUBLICA: Three Things We Don’t Know About Obama’s Massive Voter Database.

President Obama’s re-election campaign is reportedly building a massive database of information about potential supporters.

The database seems to bring together information about supporters gathered from all branches of the campaign — everything from an individual’s donation records to volunteer activity to online interactions with the campaign — aimed at allowing the campaign to personalize every interaction with potential supporters. . . . Is there any way to erase yourself from the campaign’s database? As far as we can tell, no.

I’ve got a great idea for a logo. Only slightly used!

Knowledge is power.

PEOPLE KEEP ASKING ME WHERE THEY CAN GET A BREITBART T-SHIRT. Well, if you make a donation to the Breitbart Scholarship Fund you can get one here.

AFGHANISTAN: Support for Afghan War Craters, Obama on Notice. “This isn’t surprising. If the commander in chief doesn’t defend the war and make a case for his chosen strategy, the American public has little else to go on but the most garish of headlines. Afghanistan was supposed to be the ‘good war’ that this administration wasn’t going to neglect as — it charged — the Bush administration had done. Yet today, the only thing coming from the Obama administration on the subject is radio silence.”

#MEDIAMATTERSFAIL: Media Matters writer ‘sorry’ after blasting Drudge for Martin photo. “A senior analyst with the liberal activist group Media Matters tweeted an apology on Tuesday after calling journalist Matt Drudge a racist and accusing him of using a phony photo of Trayvon Martin.”

On the upside for Media Matters, this is the most attention they’ve gotten since the Daily Caller series on them ended.

TEN YEARS AGO ON INSTAPUNDIT:

WENT TO THE DEATHCLOCK SITE. Entered my info. Clicked. Nothing happened. Guess that means I’m not going to die.

Well, so far, so good.
