ANDREW BREITBART: Me & Mrs. Sherrod — And The $1.25 Billion Pigford II Black Farmers’ Settlement. “Let me be clear, our investigation convincingly leads us to believe the USDA practiced discrimination against black farmers. Those wrongs must be rectified. But Pigford is wrought with a grotesque amount of fraud, while the truly aggrieved were mostly left high and dry. . . . Today will be the first of many days that BigGoverment.com will release information, testimony and documents to make the case that, at the very least, the American taxpayer (and ESPECIALLY those legitimately discriminated-against black farmers) need a full accounting of the Pigford I and II settlements.”

A ONE-DAY-ONLY SALE on the Canon PowerShot SD4000.

UPDATE: Moe Lane emails:

I have the Canon Powershot SD1200 IS …and it’s more or less replaced my Flip camera for my primary video recording. I like the Flip for its simplicity and capacity, but the Canon is smaller, seems to hold a better charge, gives good video and audio for an impromptu interview, and is much easier to transfer files off of. That sale on the SD4000s is almost a steal.

Yes, and with a still camera you don’t look like you’re shooting video, which can be an advantage if you’re trying to be unobtrusive.

NICK GILLESPIE AND VERONIQUE DE RUGY: The 19 Percent Solution: How to Balance the Budget Without Raising Taxes. “Congress hasn’t even begun real work on the 2011 budget, even though the fiscal year started in October (the government is currently being funded by short-term continuing resolutions; the next one expires on December 18). If they want to get serious about staving off the uncertainty, tax increases, and unrestrained spending that are sure recovery killers, they could put us on a path to a balanced budget right now.”

MORE ON THE “MANCESSION:” Labor Force Participation Rate of 25 to 54 Age Men at Record Low. “The collapse in the labor force participation rate has been one of the key stories of the great recession. The participation rate is the percentage of the working age population in the labor force. . . . However one of the key trends has been the decline in the participation rate of men – and that is continuing.”

Meanwhile, here’s how the Obama Administration’s politics contributed.

UPDATE: Reader Aaron Jones emails:

Obama could have told the feminists to ‘shove it’ regarding the burly-man focus of the stimulus. What’s NOW gonna do? Run to the press? What’s the press gonna do? Run a story tarnishing the One?

That’s why Obama is far worse than anyone can imagine. He’s thin skinned and not even pragmatic. He’d risk the ‘man’ vote and the consequences in the mid-terms to please a insignificant special interest group and instead, destroy a recoverable sector of the US economy.

Good point.
