SECURITY OF U.S. PASSPORTS called into question. “The U.S. government agency that prints passports has for years failed to resolve persistent concerns about the security risks involved in outsourcing production to foreign factories, a joint investigation by ABC News and the Center for Public Integrity has found.”

CONGRESSMAN ASSAULTS STUDENT: Does Anyone Care?

A student asks asks a public servant (yes, I know it sounds quaint) you he fully supports the Obama agenda and the reaction is a combination of anger, contempt, and physical abuse.

“Who are you? Who are You?” Rep. Etheridge kept asking the student that. But the real question is why Bob Etheridge still holds his seat.

Here’s the video, in case you missed it this morning:

But Etheridge has apologized. The most damaging thing here, though, isn’t the assault, but the obvious sense of entitlement.

DEMOCRATS “OUT FOR BLOOD” against student videographers who shot Etheridge video?

MOE LANE: Why You Need Two Cameras. And maybe a third, inconspicuously recording from a distance, if you expect a violent response.

IN CALIFORNIA, A NEW PJM/CROSSTARGET POLL: Boxer, Brown in Trouble. “A poll taken Sunday, June 13th, showed Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and California Attorney General Jerry Brown in a statistical tie with their respective opponents, Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman.”

Plus this: “In a surprise result, party affiliation reported by respondents showed a 3% majority for the GOP; these results were adjusted to match the usual proportion of a 7% Democrat majority. If party identification has really shifted by 10% toward the GOP in California, this would have dramatic implications for the election in California and for the United States as a whole.” Full results at the link.
