BEST HEADLINE: Nancy Pelosi Caught Voguing.
UPDATE: Related thoughts here. “The interesting thing for me here is not that a politician might choose to dissemble over an embarrassing revelation, but that an arm of the federal bureaucracy would so deliberately impeach one of the most powerful (and vindictive) members of the political branch. CIA could have chosen to let sleeping dogs lie and give Pelosi a pass, but instead the spooks chose to publicly confront her with inconvenient facts. . . . Either they’ve got more on her than they’re showing and this is a shot across the bow, or else they’ve taken the measure of her juice and they’re just not that impressed.”

PROP 1A POLL REPORTED BY TALK RADIO: “It looks like you wouldn’t know about this poll if you got your news from the L.A. Times. Now that KFI and the W.C. Varones Blog are breaking news stories, will the loudmouths at the L.A. Times at least make some uninformed comments? Will they be wearing pajamas when they do? “

A THOUGHT: You know, if someone asked me to go hire a a gay Arabic linguist, I wouldn’t know where to start. But the federal government seems to be firing them every time I turn around.
Best headline on this story is here. But I think that this is the best topless gay-marriage opponent picture. Heh. As far as I can tell, it’s genuine, and not photoshopped — at least it looks real, and it’s in the Chicago Tribune. (Note that I don’t know what the guy on the left thinks about gay marriage, so it’s quite possible that this picture shows only one topless gay marriage opponent.)
(Pic removed because it was slowing page-loads — you can still see it at the link.)
WELL, IT’S CHANGE: Worst Unemployment in 25 Years. “In his first three months as president, Barack Obama has oveseen a net job loss of nearly 2 million jobs. No president since Herbert Hoover has overseen a net job loss on his watch. At this rate, 30 million jobs could be lost by the time this guy is through. But I remain optimistic. It won’t be that bad. There will not be a net loss of 30 million jobs over the next four years.” Well, that’s a relief, anyway.
HAPPY V.E. Day!
HAVE YOU NO SENSE OF DECENCY, SIR? “In order to preempt attacks on their upcoming Supreme Court nominee, the lefties are already trying to Bork his or her chief examiner, Sen. Jeff Sessions, new ranking member of Senate Judiciary.”
HEY, LET’S DESTROY CARRIE PREJEAN for agreeing with the President! The point isn’t policy — it’s to have someone to hate, and to throw a scare into others.

WHATEVER YOU DO, don’t mock the mustard. “Insecurity breeds anger, and nowhere is that insecurity more evident than on left-wing blogs. Some seek to impose a new commandment, ‘thou shall not mock Obama.’ And if that means ‘thou shall not mock Obama’s mustard,’ then so it is written, so it is done.”
Personally, I’m quite fond of Grey Poupon — but then, I’m a pointy-headed law professor who went to Yale, so what do I know? Gulden’s is nice, too. But in a different way. Still, my condiment-blogging first love remains ketchup.
Plus, a divider, not a uniter?
And, not exactly Commander-in-Brief? See, now that lefty political uber-God Jon Stewart has said it’s okay to make fun of Obama on the burger thing, doesn’t John Amato feel silly? It’s like being Lillian Hellman after the Hitler/Stalin pact fell apart. Left hanging. Only with mustard instead of mayo.

Plus this: Americans think the Bush Administration used torture. But wait, they approve. Well, possibly. But at any rate, the torture issue was mostly a political tool designed to cow right-leaning members of the punditocracy by calling them Nazis. Now that it’s not needed so much, it can be allowed to die. Those pushing it are much quieter about the Obama Administration’s positions.
