FINALLY: Scientists are developing graphene solar panels that generate energy when it rains.

I’ve been conducting my own solar research: I got these solar yard lights, and boy do they teach you the difference between full-on sunlight and cloudy sunlight. . . They’re great when it’s been sunny all day; when it’s cloudy, they poop out after a couple of hours. And the angle of the panel makes a huge difference.
